Excellent experience, hotel staff were excellent and could not do enough to help. The food was also excellent and could not be faulted. All the hotel facilities were first class and our room with private pool was what we booked and did not disappoint which was very clean and the staff kept it that way throughout our stay. It is a great idea to be able to reserve the sun loungers the system works really well and a great plus point from the Olympic Lagoon.
Would fully recommend the Olympic Lagoon and would happily return.
The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff are outstanding in all departments from cleaners, bar staff, table hosts, waiters, guest services and front reception. They go out of their way to accommodate you and are all very kind and polite.
Our room was spotless and kept beautifully clean daily. Loved the Elemis bathroom products. The restaurants were delicious and varied with plenty of vegetarian options. The Greats, Seven Orchids and the Garibaldi all worth a visit.
We loved the adults only sunbathing area and the serenity pool is perfect.
The only downside to this hotel is the occasional large groups (often wedding groups) who seem to take over and are very loud and don't seem to notice the impact they have on those around them who simply want to relax. Having said that, the hotel staff do their very best to manage this and are aware of the impact this is having on their other guests. I think if management can continue to work on this then there is every chance we will be back for a return visit.
Recently stayed at this hotel, great experience, food entertainment ect all great, staff amazing especially entertainment team Gary and friends, rooms lovely and spacious spotlessly clean, we booked a deluxe room with pool garden view but wouldn’t say we got either we were in the main building too 151, i’m returning 17th october with a family group of 23 for mine and my daughters special birthday celebrations, 1 thing we were disappointed in was the booking for the restaurants on previous visit we couldn’t get into all restaurants yet they didn’t look full, my suggestion would be as soon as you are able to book get them booked, the guest relations tried but was not able to accommodate, also we requested the VIP area for the shows as a compensation for this and was told it was fully booked by hotel guest relations yet it was empty every night, I do hope on my return the hotel manager can accommodate us with this considering i have introduced 23 people to this hotel
We really liked the hotel. Prakash gave us a great service, a really kind man! The hotel is awesome. Thank you.
We arrived yesterday and got off to a terrible start. We are here for our friends wedding and most of the party arrived a week ago, they all said the hotel was amazing and we were excited to join them. When we arrived we went to the pool bar and had a drink with them, the service and staff were great.
However, this quickly changed when we went to our room. I was shocked to find we had a basic room with NO balcony or garden, not even a window that opens. I thought I’d just go to reception and it would be quickly sorted. I was sadly mistaken. I was told this was the type of room I’d booked! I’d paid over £4k for 7 nights for one adult and one child! We holiday around 5 times per year and I’ve never had to request a balcony and certainly not in a 5 star hotel. Eventually, I was told to go back the next day and they will change my room this meant I had to unpack, pack the next day and unpack again!
Not happy with this I asked to speak to a manager firstly, I was told there was no manager I challenged this and a manager came to see me, I explained the situation and was told he could only take notes and pass it on. He also said I was lucky as they said they would change my room the next day as it could have been closer to the end of our holiday! £4k for a room with no outside space in a 5 star hotel I certainly do not feel lucky. He also said every single room in the hotel is booked. The is not true, there are clearly a number of rooms not occupied.
