This 4 star hotel is located within the city of Ayia Napa and was established in 1985. It is a short drive away from the Thalassa Museum and the nearest station is not available. The Hotel has 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a conference room, a coffee shop, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre/gym.
It’s our last day but could stay another week, hotel is fabulous, spotlessly clean, friendly staff - shout to Christina the fab omelette maker ! The swimming pool is lovely and big and a good temperature It is a hot walk into town but cheap Enough in a cab
Incredible view wherever you are, really friendly staff that make you feel part of a there community (for example Stella)and outstanding food. Overall, I can not recommend this place enough.
Just arrived home from 2 weeks at the Grecian sands, once again the staff from the cleaners to the management were first class, stayed at the hotel each night in the bar on all inclusive, really good value, met up with friends from last year and a new one from this year, excellent times. Am already looking for return holiday July next year, once again thankyou for a superb holiday, see you all next year. The Harrison's room 428.
Great location on the beach, with a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Our room was bigger than normal, and we could walk off our terrace down some steps and into the pool. We decided to upgrade to All Inclusive when we arrived as we like a drink, and they were a bit pricey. Best decision we made, as the food was fantastic. Not a huge selection, which we liked, quality over quantity any day. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic. To say our room was next to the pool, it was so quiet. We enjoyed sitting looking out to sea on an evening from the Calypso bar. The Roof Top Burger bar is a must. WOW, what great views and the food is insane. Our holiday, however was made by the hotels wonderful staff. They were so attentive, friendly and happy. They put a smile on our faces everyday. Every single one of them, so Thankyou. Will be back next year with some more family members.
Simply Perfect – Thank You, Grecian Sands
My wife, teenage son and I stayed at the Grecian Sands Hotel during the Easter holidays in April, and it was a truly memorable experience.
Although the resort was quieter than usual, our holiday was perfect in so many ways.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine welcome that reflected the renowned hospitality of the Cypriot people. Throughout our stay, the service we received was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel valued and well looked after.
The hotel is ideally located, approximately a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ayia Napa. You can enjoy a scenic walk along the beach towards the marina or stroll through the town, passing traditional Cypriot restaurants and charming gift shops. There is an excellent choice of places to eat, and the portion sizes certainly won't leave you hungry!
The coastal walks directly from the hotel are stunning, offering breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and beautiful Cypriot coastline.
The hotel facilities are excellent. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and on the grass terrace overlooking the beach and marina. The gym is well equipped, and the large indoor pool provides a great alternative if you prefer to escape the sun for a while. Comfortable seating areas around the outdoor bar and lounge create a relaxing atmosphere, and the daytime activities offer something for everyone.
Each evening, the hotel hosted live entertainment in the lounge, which we thoroughly enjoyed and looked forward to after dinner.
Originally, we had booked a double room but decided to upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment on arrival. This proved to be an excellent decision. The apartment was spacious, modern, stylishly designed and spotlessly clean. We genuinely could not fault the accommodation.
The food throughout the hotel was very good, with an extensive selection of both Cypriot and English dishes available at breakfast and dinner. The daytime bar menu also offered a wide range of options, with the fresh salads becoming a particular favourite of ours.
However, the highlight of our culinary experience was undoubtedly the rooftop burger restaurant. Having only recently opened for the season, it was already attracting visitors from across the area. The burgers were quite simply the best we have ever tasted—made with exceptional quality ingredients and served with fresh, homemade sauces and sides. If you time your visit right, you can enjoy a spectacular sunset over Ayia Napa Bay while dining.
We would also like to personally thank Mr Petros and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. Their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail made a lasting impression on us.
We cannot wait to return next year and would highly recommend the Grecian Sands Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with excellent facilities, outstanding food and genuine Cypriot hospitality.
