Where do I begin… So let’s start off with the good things, they’ve recently gone through a re structure and development of the Annexe complex, and they are done to a good standard, look nice and modern and fresh.. we had stayed in a swim up room, and on the whole wasn’t too bad. However, where we was stationed, the sun would only cover the beds from like 9-12, then you’d have to sit on the deck chairs which are stationed opposite your room. Which isn’t a major issue.., however if you wish to leave your room door open and you have had the A/C on, get ready for a nice water feature down the wall, due to poor ventaltion in the room. On the subject of the A/C, if you didn’t have a cough before you went, you will most likely come back with one!. Let’s go on to the bars, as a whole the staff are generally pleasant, (can get stressed on busy periods, but they are mainly alone) the issue is when you come to receive a drink, there is no Named Brands in “coke”,”Fanta””Pepsi” etc.. and it doesn’t stop there with your alcohol either they are all un-Named liqueurs, with certain drinks, not even being available such as a strawberry Daiquiri, or an iced coffee… (WITH SYRUP🤦🏻‍♂️), which is great when you are meant to be part of the whole new “Deluxe Setup”.. While we’re on drinks, get ready to spend a couple euros a day, on some water from the shop.. because the one they provide is simply undrinkable, if you read through other reviews this is a common feature, and upon sampling, I am in agreement. The Food: in a morning there is a nice variety of bacon eggs etc, and a bloke at the Omlette station(highly recommend), the downside is there isn’t much fruit to choose from,(this is a common theme, throughout the day) Dinner and tea, are a really mixed bag.. some days you can get lucky and then you get really unlucky in terms of poor quality and not much variety.. especially if you have any allergies and don’t pre order a Gluten Free option for example, you really do shoot yourself in the foot. Speaking of which, the labels are not at all accurate to what is being described as in certain dishes, for example Onion rings stated no Gluten!. Once queried with the chef he advised they did in fact have gluten in, and this was a theme across the dishes. We Had the Al La Carte, in the Asian restaurant and to say we were disappointed wasn’t serving it justice! The service can be very hit and miss with drinks with your meal, sometimes they are on it straight away, and other times you can be left waiting/not at all.. The only positive is the young lady who seats you, she was on the ball!. The entertainment on an evening, wasn’t up too much for me personally, that is.. so I won’t knock that, as I’m not really fussed on it., they have a kids bit for a period and then go on to more “adult pleasing entertainment”. The actual Main hotel, well that’s where it looks like 2 seperate hotels in one place, (I know ones been modernised) but I believe the main hotel was a 3 star prior to he new bit being built, and the best way I can put it, is that it is still very much run as a 3 star, while having the annexe bit push the rating to a 4 star… On the whole I feel the best thing would be to do is, either focus on one or the other, because the contrast between the “two” is night and day in terms of looks and feels, but the same service runs through the two sites (lacklustre).

Drinks were watered down NEVER AGAIN

This is the second year that we have come here and what an absolute fantastic hotel this is. Ele (general manager) and her team cannot do enough for you, they are all amazing and work so hard. This hotel is so welcoming and the rooms are cleaned everyday upto a high standard, beds are comfy, if you are on a night flight you get some sandwiches and some nice cold water in your fridge. Fresh towels everyday too. Food is amazing and always upto a high standard. The pool area and the beds are jet washed and cleaned every morning too. This hotel is definitely luxary and family friendly with an adults only bit too. It was my birthday while I was here too and the hotel made it so special for me, nice table, bottle of champagne and they all came and sang happy birthday to me it was so special. We also loved spending time with Ele too, she is the most beautiful kindest woman to her staff and her customers, anything you need she is there. Entertainment team and the bar staff are amazing too!
