Atlantica Aeneas Resort

We stayed here for 7 nights during the first week of July 2026 with my two children (aged 4 and 7) and my mum and husband, and we had a fantastic holiday.

The hotel was excellent throughout—clean, well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was honestly some of the best we’ve had at an all inclusive resort. There was a huge variety every evening, and everything was full of flavour. Even my fussy children tried lots of new foods, from sushi to gyozas, which says a lot! The meat was always tender, juicy, and tasted like it had been marinated for hours.

We ate in both of the à la carte restaurants, and the food and service in both were exceptional.

The pools were great, with a good balance of entertainment that wasn’t too overwhelming. My 4-year old absolutely loved the kids’ club and wanted to go every single day. The snack bar was brilliant for families, offering freshly made pre-packed sandwiches, yoghurts and other grab/and/go options. The self-serve ice creams were a real hit too, especially the mini Magnums and mini Soleros. There was also an ice cream station where you could add your own toppings—Oreos were a particular favourite with the kids!

The entertainment team worked incredibly hard and were wonderful with the children. The evening entertainment outside was enjoyable but could have been a little better.

The beach directly across the road was beautiful, although it was very busy, so we didn’t spend much time there.

The only real downside was the sunbed situation. You needed to reserve loungers very early each morning. My mum was out at 7:30am most days just to secure enough beds for us all. On our first day, when we came down around 10am, there weren’t enough loungers together for our family. I think introducing a fairer sunbed allocation system would make a huge difference.

Overall, we had a wonderful week and would highly recommend this hotel to families. It’s a fantastic choice if you’re looking for great food, excellent facilities and a child-friendly atmosphere.

This was our second stay at Atlantica Aeneas, travelling as a family of three with our 3-year-old daughter, and once again we had a fantastic holiday.

From the moment we arrived, the reception and front of house staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. As we arrived quite late in the evening, there were sandwiches and fruit waiting for us in the restaurant, which was a nice touch after travelling.

We paid for a pool-view family room with sliding doors. This time our room was in the main building, whereas on our previous stay we'd had one of the bungalows. We personally preferred the bungalow as it meant no waiting for lifts, which can get quite busy at certain times of the day. That was probably our biggest downside this time.

The hotel itself is exceptionally clean. You constantly see staff cleaning throughout the day, whether it's around the pool, the restaurants or the communal areas. Our room was cleaned to a high standard every day, towels were changed whenever requested, and our bedding was changed twice during our 10-night stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The double bed was made up of two large single beds pushed together, but it was plenty big enough for the two of us. As our daughter normally sleeps with a bed guard at home, we simply pushed the sofa alongside her bed to stop her rolling onto the tiled floor. The air conditioning worked brilliantly throughout our stay. The only slight issue with the room was the bathroom. We had a walk-in shower rather than a bath, and due to the layout, the floor became very wet after every shower, making it quite slippery.

The pool is one of the highlights of this hotel. We never struggled to find sunbeds, although if you want them in a very specific spot, it's worth getting down before 8am. Otherwise, there were always plenty available throughout the day. The hotel also removes towels left on unattended sunbeds before 8am, which is a really good policy.

The main restaurant offers plenty of choice, and we always found something we enjoyed. Although each evening has a different theme, there's always a good selection of pizza, pasta, chips, salads, fruit, vegetables and desserts alongside the themed dishes.

During our stay we also ate at both The Taverna and Green & Grill, which are included as part of the all-inclusive package. We thoroughly enjoyed both, but The Taverna was definitely our favourite - the food was absolutely delicious.

We also fancied a break from the buffet a couple of evenings, especially as it can get quite busy during peak times, so we walked next door to La Cucina Di Napa. If you're staying at the hotel, show your wristband and you'll receive 20% off your bill. We'd definitely recommend it - the food was gorgeous.

The snack bar is handy during the day, serving burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chips, salads and make-your-own wraps and paninis. It's probably not what I'd describe as five-star food, but it's perfectly fine for lunch. We also really enjoyed the pool bars, plus the ice cream and pancake station next to the snack bar. Special mention to Abdul and Kyri on the bars, both great guys and always smiling!

The evening entertainment was enjoyable, and our daughter absolutely loved it. The entertainment team work incredibly hard and, if I'm honest, we actually preferred many of their own shows to some of the outside acts. The Musicals night was excellent. A special thank you to Lova, Filipe, Honey and Kaycey, who were all brilliant with our daughter and made her holiday so memorable.

The only slight criticism is that the entertainment runs on a weekly rotation. We happened to be there for two Fridays, so we saw the Michael Jackson tribute twice, and once was probably enough! We also found Quiz Storm became a little repetitive by the end of our stay. Because of this, we sometimes had our evening meal and then walked down to Gardens Bar for a change of scenery.

One of the biggest highlights for us was the Kids Club. We'd never left our daughter at one before and weren't sure whether she'd be confident enough, but we attended one of the Stay & Play sessions first, which allowed us to meet the staff and have a look around. It completely put our minds at ease.

She attended the Kids Club on a couple of afternoons (2-4pm) and also the TUI Bot Party (6-9pm). This costs €22, but it was worth every penny. She had an amazing time, was given her evening meal, and even came away with a TUI Bot soft toy that she absolutely loves. There are separate clubs for ages 3-6 and 7-12, although some sessions are combined, and you can check everything on the TUI app before booking.

The Kids Club team deserve a huge mention. Diana was absolutely amazing and our daughter completely adored her. Lucy, Nova, Hilda and Johanne were all fantastic too - so kind, attentive and clearly passionate about what they do. Thank you for making our daughter's holiday so special.

Overall, we had another wonderful holiday at Atlantica Aeneas. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are fantastic, the facilities are excellent for families and there is plenty to keep children entertained. Although we personally preferred staying in one of the bungalows and would love a little more variety in the evening entertainment, these are only minor points. We'd happily return for a third visit and would definitely recommend the hotel to families looking for a relaxing holiday in Cyprus.
