🔥 A Hot Recommendation for the Royal Apollonia Hotel in Limassol 🔥
We stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Tuesday (July 9-14), booking 3 rooms (a couple, a couple with one child, and one adult), all on a bed and breakfast basis.
The service at the hotel was absolutely amazing. All the staff were friendly, smiling, and welcoming guests with great warmth. The level of service was extremely high. When we first arrived in the evening, we were greeted with very cold face towels for refreshment and soft drinks. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff regularly checked in on us and were available for any request we had.
The hotel environment is very clean, the rooms are spotless, and housekeeping cleans them daily. Maintenance is also at a very high level - everything works properly, and the hotel feels organized and pleasant throughout the stay. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi work perfectly across the entire hotel. Every day, they provide bottled water, dark chocolate, and motivational notes in the rooms, which is a nice touch.
The breakfast is varied and delicious, with a wide selection of breads, fresh pastries, salads, and cheeses. The food was fresh and tasty. The waiters quickly serve drinks to the table upon request.
The pool was the highlight of the hotel - a large and spacious pool that never felt crowded, with very pleasant water. The maximum depth is 1.45 meters, and there is a pool bar. The lifeguards and bar staff were excellent and very attentive to all guests. During the day, they hand out jelly cups and cold towels for refreshment. The hotel also has a private beach with paid water sports. In addition, there is an indoor pool on level -1 with cold water, and an outdoor kids’ pool with a small slide.
The main downside is that the hotel is located far from the city center (about 20 minutes) and the mall (about 30 minutes), although Limassol itself is quite a quiet city. You can get around using bus line 30 for €2 per passenger, which runs every 5-10 minutes to the city center and the mall, or by using taxis via Bolt or the hotel reception. Renting a car is also an option, and there is plenty of parking at the hotel. There is a supermarket about an 8-minute walk from the hotel and kiosks just 2 minutes away.
We would like to thank Hamudi, who works at the pool bar, and Ahmed the lifeguard for making our vacation even more enjoyable.
A small tip: it is advisable to request a room facing the pool rather than the city. There is annoying exhaust noise from cars throughout the day and night.
One thing missing from the hotel is music at the pool, which was almost nonexistent.
Additionally, I would like to mention that Cyprus is a very friendly country, and we did not experience any racism or antisemitism.

I had my Zomata at the hotel, and everything exceeded my expectations! The service was outstanding, the buffet was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. Every detail was handled perfectly, making the event truly memorable.
A special thank you to Mrs. Elena Stephani, the Sales Executive, who was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made everything so much easier.

An amazing team behind an amazing stay
Our group of 19 stayed at the Royal Apollonia for 5 nights and 6 days, and I can honestly say it was an excellent experience from beginning to end.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a heated swimming pool, a clean and well-maintained beach, comfortable facilities, and a very good location. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the à la carte lunch restaurant exceeded our expectations with delicious food and great service.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. A beautiful property can be found anywhere, but a team like this is what makes guests want to return.
A special thank you to Mohamed Ibrahim at Reception, who welcomed everyone with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
Martin at Reception was always cheerful, approachable, and incredibly helpful. He made every interaction easy and pleasant.
Islam, also at Reception, was consistently supportive, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile.
A very special mention goes to Ayman at the pool area. His hospitality, energy, and dedication are exceptional. He genuinely goes out of his way to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of. I noticed other guests complimenting him as well, which says a lot about the positive impression he leaves on everyone.
Hamdy, the barman, prepared excellent cocktails and always served them with a friendly attitude.
Yasser, the lifeguard, was attentive, professional, and contributed to making the pool area feel both safe and welcoming.
And then there's Zaki, who served us during breakfast and lunch. His smile every morning, positive attitude, and attention to guests made every meal more enjoyable. He has a natural talent for hospitality and creates an atmosphere that makes people feel genuinely welcome.
Finally, I'd like to recognize Paulina, the Operations Manager. The quality of the service we experienced reflects outstanding leadership. Building and maintaining such a motivated, friendly, and professional team is no easy task, and she deserves a great deal of credit for creating a culture where guests feel valued.
As a group of 19 people, we experienced many different hotels over the years, and it's rare to find a team that consistently delivers such a high standard of hospitality to every guest. The staff at the Royal Apollonia didn't just provide good service, they created memorable experiences.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We left with wonderful memories, and I would happily recommend the Royal Apollonia to anyone visiting Limassol.
