The 5-star Royal Apollonia, part of the Louis Hotel Premium collection, overlooks the beach in the heart of Limassol's tourist area, within walking distance from shops, restaurants & bars. It offers convenience, comfort & service with good amenities. In 2012 the hotel was a fully renovated.

Not much Royal, I am afraid
The guys at the reception and at breakfast are excellent, friendly and efficent. Unfortunately, the service at both bars, especially inside, is very slow and the drinks (beer and red wine) are terrible. The room (we upgraded to a sea view) is ok with the usual stuff expected for a 5-star (Nespresso, slippers/robe, water) but it is not a big room. They have this mattress's cover which keeps moving making creases with the bed linen which are completely ignored by the housekeepers. Some of the ladies speak very loud (on purpose to wake you up?) outside your door. Walls are thin and you can hear your next door neighbour snoring! Not very comfortable to sleep. The swimming pool is nice but the chairs desperate need an upgrade: they are very old and heavy, too soft and much too close to each other (I suppose it is like a 3-star swimming pool?). The beach is quite depressing: dark sand, small and too close to the water. Location is ok, 3 miles from the marina/old town. You pay about 15 euros one way, but there is a bus stop just outside which will take you there for 2 euros. In summary, I am sure you can find a better 5-star in Limassol...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is wonderful, and the interior design is absolutely flawless. The rooms are clean and cozy. Next time, I will definitely book a room with a sea view. I would like to express my gratitude to the reception staff, as well as the teams at the "Aura" and "Akakiko" restaurants. I also want to thank the housekeeping staff: the rooms were always kept clean, and everything I needed was in perfect order.

Lovely hotel
After some problems trying to book a sea view room with sun loungers (I had to escalate to management ), thankfully Paulina intervened and I had a lovely room overlooking the sea with sun loungers. I spent most of my time here as came for peace. The grounds are well kept. Staff friendly. Service is a little up and down but mostly good. Special thanks to Daca in the Japanese restaurant who was very warm and welcoming. The food in the buffet was varied and good. Good location to most places. Gym has decent equipment - fixed and free weights, always busy. I think they let locals use it. Air con was also poor. Paulina and Dinu made my stay special - my room was wonderful, large and the balcony is what made my trip great.

We’ve just spent 10 incredible days at The Royal Apollonia in Limassol, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel is wonderful, the food was superb, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. But what truly makes this place special is its people. ❤️
Every single member of staff we encountered was kind, welcoming, attentive and genuinely happy to go the extra mile. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warmth made our holiday feel truly special. It’s the people who turn a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and The Royal Apollonia has that in abundance!
