Parklane a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

Parklane is an attractive resort with many strong points.

The rooms have a classic elegance and are clean and comfortable, with excellent beds, very good bedding, and beautiful views from the sea-view rooms. Some details are beginning to show their age a little, but this did not detract from the overall comfort of our stay.The Apivita cleansing gel provided at turndown was appreciated. But you may have to request turndown.

As a matter of personal preference, I would have preferred a fully enclosed bathroom. In our room, the bathroom area itself was open to the bedroom, with separate glass doors only for the shower and toilet.

Breakfast offers an extremely large and varied buffet, with impressive choices and eggs cooked to order. The yogurt was excellent.

The resort has several well-known dining options on site, including LPM and Nammos restaurant and beach club.

The beach is very nice and well attended, although call buttons at the loungers would make the service even smoother. The cabanas, although at an additional charge, make the beach experience feel more special.

The gym is good and functional, with high-end Technogym equipment and a separate studio used for classes. There is also a trainer on duty who can assist, and personal training is available. Personally, I would have liked to see an additional type of elliptical machine, and while everything was functional, a little more attention to equipment maintenance would make the gym experience even better.

Just outside the gym, next to the indoor pool, there is a very nice bar offering smoothies and small healthy snacks, staffed by wonderful attendants. The energy bars they offer look as if they came from a French patisserie and were probably the best I have ever tasted.

The staff in general were very kind and helpful. A special thank you goes to Christina, who was warm, professional and exceptionally energetic. She seemed to be present whenever guests needed her from early morning to late at night and made us feel genuinely valued and well looked after.
