This fantastic 5-star resort has an excellent location as well as being on the beach, it is halfway between the city center and the airport. Has a total of 302 rooms divided over 6 floors, including some for people with disabilities. All rooms have television, Internet access via WIFI, minibar, safe and private bathroom with amenities. The hotel also offers a fantastic spa where you can enjoy numerous body treatments and you can relax. You can enjoy different cuisines in nearby restaurants and enjoy delicious cocktails in bars.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have been coming back to the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol for our annual family holiday for the past nine years, so it has become something of a tradition. We usually book a family sea-view room, which works really well for us, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well looked after. The hotel is also only about a 40-minute drive from Larnaca airport.
What keeps us coming back, more than anything, is the staff. They are friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. Reception and the concierge team have always been great whenever we have needed help. The whole hotel has a calm, easy atmosphere, even when it is busy, and that is exactly what we want when we are trying to switch off. I would also recommend making time for the spa if you can for a relaxing massage or pamper yourself with a facial treatment. There are several swimming pools available and other facilities, and the beach is literally an extension of the hotel. The beach bar will fix you up with any drink you like and has an extensive food menu.
Talking about food, this is another key reason we enjoy staying here. Breakfast at the Tropical Restaurant is something we always look forward to, one of the nicest buffet set-ups I have experienced. For dinner, we like the hotel's Oriental restaurant for Asian and Chinese dishes, but the M Fusion is probably still my personal favourite. It is worth booking ahead, as the restaurants can get busy with both hotel guests and locals. Next door to the Four Seasons, the Amathus sister hotel also has a very good seafood place by the seaside and a steakhouse grill for meat lovers. And if you fancy something sweet and low key, Colors Café is a nice stop for pastries or ice cream and other goodies.
If you want to go out for a change of scene, there are plenty of good restaurants a short Uber ride away. We have particularly enjoyed La Maison Fleurie for traditional French food, and there are plenty of traditional tavernas and seafood places to try as well. For seafood, I would head to the harbour front in Limassol, there are a number of places.
I could go on and on, but simply put, this hotel has worked really well for us year after year and we always look forward to returning.
We have just returned from our latest stay at the Four Seasons (we have been repeat guests for 20 years) . As always the hotel is consistently excellent in all areas especially the wonderful service from the friendly staff too numerous to mention by name , but for whom nothing is too much trouble. As soon as we walk through the door we feel welcomed and relaxed , home from home ! Costas is doing a great job and should be proud of his team. We must give a special mention to Andreas (customer relations manager) and Lenia (Maitre D’) they make our stay extra special and feel like old friends. This year we were privileged to be included on an excursion organised by the hotel . This takes place each Wednesday in a very comfortable, air conditioned mini bus accompanied by Andreas ( who makes the trip so much fun) and alternates between three local villages . Our visit was to Mandria , Andreas’ home village and we were welcomed by his lovey mum. There was wine tasting at a family run winery followed by a walk around the village calling at the beautiful church . Afterwards we had meze at the local taverna , which was exceptional. The full cost of the trip is very kindly covered by the hotel owner Mr Mouskis , thank you for a most enjoyable day.
A Disappointing Honeymoon Experience at Four Seasons Limassol
My wife and I chose Four Seasons Limassol to celebrate our honeymoon. We booked this hotel expecting a truly world-class experience. Having previously stayed at Marriott and Ritz-Carlton properties, and after hearing so many positive things about Four Seasons, we were genuinely excited. Unfortunately, within the first hours of our stay, it became clear that the level of service was far below what we expected from a luxury five-star hotel.
Our first disappointment happened late at night when we asked the front desk for bottled water. Instead of receiving assistance, the receptionist, Angela, responded in a rude and unfriendly manner. It was a very disappointing way to begin what was supposed to be a special trip.
The next issue involved a simple request for an ironing board. I called the front desk three separate times and also sent a message through the hotel’s guest chat service. No one responded to the chat, and despite multiple requests, the ironing board was never delivered.
The final straw was our dinner at the restaurant on the lower ground floor. From the very beginning, the hostess, Amelina, made us feel as though we should not even be dining there because we did not have a reservation. At no point before this had anyone informed us that a reservation was required.
We were offered only two tables: one positioned right next to the water, where guests could easily get splashed, and another directly beside a loud speaker, making it impossible to have a conversation. It was obvious that guest comfort was not a priority.
The experience continued to deteriorate during dinner. Because the music was so loud, the waiters had to lean in very closely to speak to us. One of them repeatedly touched my shoulder to get my attention, which felt intrusive and inappropriate. We eventually had to ask the staff not to touch us. To make matters worse, we waited approximately 30 minutes before anyone even offered us drinks or took our order.
Throughout our stay, we rarely experienced genuine hospitality or a willingness to help. Instead of finding solutions, the staff often made us feel as though our requests were an inconvenience.
We are sincerely disappointed that this was our honeymoon experience at Four Seasons Limassol. A hotel with such a reputation should create unforgettable memories for the right reasons, not leave guests feeling frustrated and let down.
If you are considering spending €5,000 or more on a luxury five-star holiday, based on our experience, I would strongly recommend carefully considering other options before choosing this hotel.
Rooms very clean and confy. Chill location.
The hotel is modern, exceptionally well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are spacious, bright, and finished to a high standard, while the beautifully kept grounds create a genuine sense of relaxation from the moment you arrive. The amount of greenery throughout the resort is remarkable, and the standard of landscaping is among the best we have seen. The stunning koi pond is a real hidden gem and one of the property's greatest treasures, adding a unique sense of tranquillity and charm.
The culinary experience was a highlight of our stay. The daily rotation of the buffet menus provided excellent variety and consistently high quality, while the Greek evening was both memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. The pool areas, gardens and beach facilities are all excellent and maintained to a very high standard. The Kids Club is also well organized and offers a great range of activities for children.
What truly distinguishes this resort, however, is the quality of the service. The staff are professional, attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Their approach creates a rare feeling of being truly cared for throughout the entire stay. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Head Baker and Pastry Chef, whose exceptional care and attention to our daughter’s food allergies went far beyond what we would normally expect. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Greg, who leads the beach team, for all his helpful recommendations, local tips, and outstanding care throughout our stay. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.
Overall, everything feels polished, seamless, and carefully considered. Without question, this is one of the best family resorts we have visited in recent years, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended.
