Lying amidst idyllic surrounds, this popular hotel is located at the heart of Amathus just 200 m from the local pebble beach that may be reached by using the hotel underground passageway. Links to the public transport network (bus lines), restaurants, bars and shops as well as the fascinating ruins of the ancient royal city are to be found nearby.
Renovated in 2023, this 4-storey hotel comprises 202 rooms and was recently refurbished to cater for guests' every requirements- business guests as well as holidaying families. Facilities include a vast foyer, a reception desk, a bar, a café, an Internet corner and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant in addition to a hairdresser's salon and a souvenir shop.
The tastefully decorated rooms each come with a bathroom or a walk in shower, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar/ fridge, air conditioning, central heating, a hire safe and a balcony. Guests may opt for a room facing inland, with side-on views or direct views out over the sea.
In the outdoor complex is a pool complex with a poolside snack bar, sun loungers, parasols and bath towels that have been laid out ready for use (complimentary). Further leisure options include a artificial grass tennis court (floodlighting; equipment hire for free) and table tennis, whilst various water sports are on offer on the beach. Darts may be played within the hotel and there is also a sauna to take advantage of(with additional fee). During the summer, the daytime and evening entertainment programmes provide some amusement for guests.
Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; those who opt for an all-inclusive stay may choose between a selection of warm and cold snacks at several times of the day. In addition, those guests wishing to undertake an all-day excursion are offered a lunchbox service.

Fantastic has every thing you need for a lovely holiday
lovely location, Atmosphere chilled, great Value, very clean spotless, Amenities Fantastic 2nd Visit to hotel can not fault it all the staff are amazing, two people I would like to say that went above their duties was Joanna who helped out when i first arrived at the hotel she went above her duties to help me thanks jo for your kindness and patience . A massive improvement on the entertainment side this year due to Max he really made the holiday fantastic with running all the activities himself and involving as many people to participate, it made every day a night so much more enjoyable. with the added value of speaking so many languages (8) i believe so no one was left out. what an asset to the hotel. the hotel also has fantastic shows every night love this Hotel

Clean and comfortable but avoid a sea view room
Good things
- The staff are all lovely and can’t do enough to please
- The beds are super comfy
- The pool area is nice and kept very clean and tidy
- Easy access to the beach and we were able to go paddle boarding and snorkelling there
- Sands beach bar which is affiliated is very, very good!!
- The soft drinks
- The à la carte (you get to go once during the week as part of all inclusive)is a room off the main restaurant and was better than expected just wish it had a separate entrance
- Silent disco and Film night (no noise see below)
- Cats are everywhere and super cute
- I overheard some people saying this was their 3rd time here that won’t be us..
Not so good things
- We booked late and had no option but to go all inclusive. There is only one restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we were getting cabin fever by the start of day 3 and went exploring and eating elsewhere so wasted on us.
- The alcoholic drinks
- The evening entertainment…if it’s not your bag there is no escape from it. We had a room overlooking the sea and pool area. Even with the balcony doors closed it might as well have been in the room with us. It finishes at 10:30 but when you’re not enjoying it every minute feels like an eternity. We tried hiding out in our room and watching a film but it’s so loud. In the end we just escaped to the bar of another hotel and waited it out there.
Advice if you choose this hotel
- B&B only
- Avoid a room with a sea or pool view then you have the choice of whether to listen in the evening or not

Amazing as always
Our 2nd visit to this hotel. Everything was great as last time.
We asked for the same room (or one on the same side) which they honoured. They remembered it was our wedding anniversary and sent a bottle of sparking wine. This time we had a turn down service on our last night, which we didn't get last year. A lovely touch.
I got the days mixed up for our a la carte booking at The Sands bar and the customer relations manager made sure we could still have this on the same day.
All the staff go above and beyond with the service, smiling and attentive. There was a couple of waiters/ waitresses that remembered what drinks we liked. The porter also remembered us frpm last year.
We have no complaints and will return next year for a third visit.

Half a stone to lose!😉
Brilliant hotel with fantastic staff can understand why so many we met were returning year after year. Only downside the lack of local restaurants, tavernas within walking distance and beach for me was not the best. Food in hotel,however, was excellent. All inclusive not the usual holiday, (prefer B&B / half board at a push to experience local tavernas etc.) so for those who love AI then a hotel to recommend.

Superb all inclusive hotel.
have stayed at many all-inclusive hotels across Cyprus, but this is by far the best four-star all-inclusive hotel I have ever visited.
Over the past few years, I have returned to this hotel several times, mainly because of its exceptionally friendly staff, excellent food, and fantastic evening entertainment. There is also a wide selection of cocktails, and I particularly appreciate the fact that drinks are served in proper glasses rather than the cheap, single-use plastic cups commonly found at many other all-inclusive hotels.
The rooms and interior are of such a high standard that they would not look out of place in a five-star hotel. The hotel also boasts a fantastic swimming pool, while the beach is just a short walk away.
I would especially like to recognise some of the staff members who make every visit so special: Katia and Iakovos at Reception, Iakovos in the restaurant, Artemis the lifeguard, Dimitris from Maintenance, and Stathis and Andrie from F&B Management.
These dedicated team members have been part of the hotel for many years, and their experience, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are a real credit to the establishment. The hotel is incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful people on its team.
I look forward to returning again and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an outstanding all-inclusive experience in Cyprus.
