Sitting right on the beach in Lapad and surrounded by pine forests, this venue is the perfect destination for an unforgettable seaside holiday. Guests who want to explore Dubrovnik can use the local bus stop that is located just outside of the hotel, it offers services to the city centre at every 15 minutes. The airport is at 24 km from the property. The hotel offers luxurious rooms, equipped with convennient amenities for a pleasant stay. When the weather allows the outdoor swimming pool is the place where guests can work on healthy tan, while the relaxed garden is perfect for unwinding with a good book in hand. Guests can enjoy the tasty local and international cuisine of the onsite restaurant at its spacious terrace, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
It is hard to put into words; you have to come and experience it all for yourself. Absolutely everything is perfect—the accommodation, the food, the nature, and the clear, beautiful Adriatic Sea. I simply must come back to experience it all over again.
The best accommodation on the Croatian coast. Neat and spacious rooms. The food is excellent with a wide selection of dishes, everyone can find what they like. The sea is clean and clear with beautiful untouched nature. Those who like swimming pools have a wide selection and I noticed that they change the water every day. All praise for the professional staff...see you again very soon.
Excellent hotel. We were booked for the Royal Palm hotel for rooms with sea view, but that hotel was overbooked and we were upgraded to the Royal Princess hotel. All Royal hotels are part of the same resort, and guests from all hotels can use all facilities, pools and restaurants.
Our room was huge, a big one bedroom suite with a king bed, kitchenette with a bar (but no cooking gear) and 2 bathrooms, one with a shower, and one with 2 vanities and a bathtub and a shower divider. It had so much space that we didn't know what to do with it all, except enjoy it!
We had a rate with breakfast included, and it was a huge buffet with all kinds of hot and cold options, including fruits and an omelette station. Very high quality.
On the resort grounds the pools are small but nice, and there are options to go into the sea and swim. The "beach" is rocky (as most beaches are in Croatia) but there are many beds and umbrella spaces made on the rocks. Great for a relaxing day.
We were there with a car and if you book directly with the hotel parking is free. Parking is very difficult near the old town, so we left our car at the hotel and took taxis to and from the old town (15 minutes, 20-25 euro.
The Royal family of hotels is a great and luxury place to stay, and I can recommend this to anyone who wants to shell out the money for this. Service from the front desk was excellent as well. We would stay here again!
Very nice clean place to stay. Loved the food and whole experience. Simply beautiful.
We are sat in the airport waiting for our delayed flight so thought now would be a good time to review the Royal Princess. We stayed in a sea view suite. Room 1411 The room was large, clean with plenty of storage and ensuite to the main bedroom plus an additional bathroom off the lounge. There was also a kitchenette area with microwave, hob, fridge, sink. The whole resort consisting of 5 hotels is beautifully designed. We ate in three of the restaurants and the food was lovely in all. We were originally planning to stay in the Royal Blue but when our adult daughter asked if she could join us we changed to a suite in the Princess,we were not disappointed. We used the roof top bar of the Royal Blue for late afternoon swimming and cocktails. Perfect. We spent our mornings by the rocks so we could go into the sea. My husband is a keen sea swimmer. Sun beds were not an issue and the team that look after the area were always so helpful placing the beds, towels, umbrellas etc. whilst we were there the pool team were celebrating a clean water ‘blue flag’ award for the Neptune beach. The cost of drinks is on a par with UK prices, so not cheap but not too pricey. I give our overall experience 9 out of 10. To make it perfect I would ask for a full length mirror in the room and a secured WiFi access across the resort.
