Good but not great.
The downstairs area is well presented - attractive outdoor and indoor seating areas. Nice staff. Breakfast is all self service but the hot options could be better. Coffee is average. We had a junior suite with balcony. I didn't realise that this meant that two of us (family of 4) were sleeping on a sofa bed. Not recommended as it creaked all night. Also, the air conditioning in the living room area where the sofa bed was situated kept reverting to 25 degrees. I was told at reception that we have to call them to ask for this to be adjusted - bit late to be told the next morning - they could easily put a sign beside the controller. Although the overall suite was a decent size, the beds had very little room to move around them. The sofa bed was set up in advance, so the suite looked a little ugly on entry. We thought that it was very expensive for the room / level of comfort that we had.

Modern comfort, great location
Modern hotel, well equipped throughout. Breakfast buffet was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were brilliant, spotless, and well equipped. Location is outside Old Town but still an easy walk to most sights. Would stay again.
Great hotel
This is a beautiful hotel snd very convenient to boats snd old town. The bus runs right next to the hotel for old town and cost about $2. You can tap and pay in the bus. Uber or taxi is about $10-14 depending on time of day. Our Uber from the port was $25 for uber XL 4 adults with luggage. Great breakfast. Great A/c snd great staff.

Very nice but unimpressive breakfast
Absolutely beautiful hotel room, probably the best of the five we stayed in during our Croatian vacation. So spacious, new, and clean. Good quality bedding, comfy bed and pillows. Gorgeous bathroom with spacious vanity and great shower. If the breakfast was better I’d have given five stars. Breakfast was disappointing as compared to the other hotels we stayed at. Poor fruit quality and the general selection didn’t compare to the others. Female staff were friendly at front desk and restaurant, males were not…..they weren’t rude, just aloof. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage until 5:00 pm, which was nice. Take the bus to old town if you want to save money-it’s easy and the stops are near the hotel. Also a good grocery “Ribola” next door.

Excellent location, breakfast, and staff
We flew into to Dubrovnik and were on our way to Hvar but didn't want to immediately get on a ferry, so we stayed one night at Hotel Porto. There was 3 of us (my wife, myself, and our daughter) so we got a family suite, which was totally worth it for the space and privacy. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had. All staff were very kind and helpful. We had to leave our luggage while we waited for the ferry and they could do that. Oh and they arranged a private pickup from the airport. 55 EUR for 3 of us and it was beyond worth it because there was no hassle of trying to figure all of that out and the airport is about a 20 minute drive.
