Unexpected sight!
We didn't actually stay at the Excelsior, however I feel compelled to comment. Walking past it tonight after dinner we were stunned at what we saw in the Excelsior. From the road side footpath we saw a number of bathrooms as we passed. We could see double basins, baths and toilets. This is a busy path! I commented to my husband about this extraordinary sight and he laughed because there not just of another bathroom a woman's lower legs. She was obviously sitting on the toilet! Really?!? The building design is appalling.

Great hotel with stunning views of the sea and old town
Really lovely hotel in a stunning location .It was out first time to Croatia and we found it so relaxing outside this hotel by the sea , being able to nip inside to use the big indoor spa pool etc was a real bonus too , the restaurant and bars were really good and the staff were very friendly too , especially Niki on the sun loungers It was in the perfect location to walk to the old town too , one of the best trips we've had in ages and will definitely go back

A Wonderful Stay with Truly Exceptional Service
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Dubrovnik! It was our first holiday together as a couple, and the whole experience made it even more special.
The location, food, hotel quality, and service were all excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, from our housekeeper to the restaurant staff, always making sure we had everything we needed.
A special thank you to Petar, who made us feel at home from the very beginning, almost like we were meeting an old friend. It’s rare to find someone who combines such professionalism with genuine warmth and personal connection.
I also celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised me with a cake and a lovely letter from the director. Such a thoughtful gesture!
We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you to the whole team for making our first holiday together so memorable. We would love to come back! Highly recommended.
