- Anse Chastanet

This is one of the Caribbean's most romantic resorts set amidst a 600 acre lush tropical estate with 2 soft sand beaches, 8000 feet of Caribbean coastline and breathtaking views of St. Lucia's twin Piton mountains rising out of the calm Caribbean Sea. This property has an unique rooms and tropical hardwood furniture have been personally designed by the architect owner, and all blend harmoniously with the environment and nature. Even the resort bathrobes are locally made and have become a popular souvenir item. 1 Β½ miles north of the town of Soufriere, and near most of the island's major sightseeing attractions.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
It wasn't bad, Soufrière is beautiful, but I'll choose another resort.
Went to the main restaurant for food as we were guest in the beach today. The food was average compared to the rest of the island and was bad value for money. One the other hand the drinks were lovely and staff were exceptional.
We went for our honeymoon. It was our first time in St. Lucia. Overall, our trip was very good to excellent in range. The only thing was that the rooms were not as cool as they ideally should be for sleeping purposes. The fans helped a lot and we were upgraded and it was a wonderful view (could NOT get more perfect of a view as it made our entire experience!) I think there were just a few nights when it was too hot once we woke up and during the day it was hard to stay there since it was too hot so we went down to the beach.
The food was excellent. Most of our meals were 10/10.
The service was also great and most everyone there was friendly and had a personality and smile.
Overall, definitely recommend for a honeymoon. I just wouldn't be back again because I want to be in a cool room for my sleep. Perhaps others would be more comfortable! For context I am a New York native born and raised, and have also lived in Florida for 2 years, Scotland, UK for 1 year, and Wilmington, NC for 3 years.
Noise level is fairly moderate but you will have nature noise. We loved that aspect and loved listening to the tree frogs chirping at night along with the birds. They do provide eye masks and ear plugs for your comfort but I never needed the ear plugs. The fans also made a nice white noise effect.
The atmosphere was romantic and tranquil and very nature-focused. I'm not sure if it's worth all of the full thousands it cost to stay there. One might get a slightly more bang for their buck elsewhere, but I truly have no idea and haven't done the research. This is the only resort I've stayed at on St. Lucia. For additional context, I've stayed at Paradise Island, Bahamas at Harborside Resort Timeshares as well as the Atlantis hotel, The Vanderbuilt Resort in Puerto Rico, Lotte Hotel in NYC, but I've also stayed in budget friendly motels, standard mid-level comfort inns, and hostels all over the world.
All in all, no regrets and would 100% have picked this again for our honeymoon!
What a fantastic get a away. Everything was amazing from start to finish. The most friendly staff of any resort I've ever been to. I wish I could remember everyone's names. Every meal was delicious, so many items to choose from, wish I had more days so I could try everything. Do splurge and book a dinner at Jade Mountain, best views on the island. Definitely eat lunch on the beach, and ask for a bucket of beers. Drinks at the bar were some of the best coctails anywhere. The beach was perfect, beds are plentiful. Mamin was sooooo relaxing. We got an upgrade to to a deluxe hilltop, incredible views super spacious the outdoor shower was to die for. Room was super clean. There's a lot of stairs but we took the shuttle a few times. I reccomend a sunset cruise, it was a super relaxing 2 hours. Very chill crowd, upscale patrons. Opt for the inclusive option, its well worth it. Cant wait to go back. Id like to say so much more but I think ill save it for a YT video review. Anything I didnt mention PM me !!! Thank you Anse for the best wedding anniversary, the resort touched our hearts π
I traveled to Anse Chastanet to go scuba diving with friends as we do every year. This dive resort far exceeded my expectations with the best food, service, and beauty. The beauty extends below the ocean surface and the beautiful palm tree beaches to the people working tirelessly to make our stay memorable. Everyone introduced themselves and within a couple of days knew our names and habits! The food is amazing and the menu changes daily - always a fresh fish available as well as pork, duck, beef, and chicken dishes. The variety of food was top notch. Our dive team of Kwame, Xavier, and Obo were amazing help and Xavier an encyclopedia of St. Lucia knowledge. The reefs are full of colorful sponges, many eels (Sharp Tail Eels), and a variety of small to medium fish. The dives are mainly drift dives and we had some major currents with a new moon phase. The resort also supports local musicians as we had a variety of of live music every night! I will definitely return and extend my travels beyond the ocean to the volcano areas!
