Soco House

We chose Soco house as it was Adults only and working in education it was a peaceful break from children. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food on the whole was good , the à la carte menu changed every other day, we found on the second day the food wasn’t always as good as the first but there was a varied choice for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Sometimes the wait for food was a little longer, but I think that’s just the Caribbean way. The restaurant staff were lovely especially; Sharlene ,Nadia ,Elker,Jane and George and Eloise front of house was a breath of fresh air. Alex snd Gavin on the bar were also super friendly and always willing to help in any way. These individuals are a credit to the hotel and made our stay enjoyable. The stunning beach is literally a 4 minute walk with golden sand and crystal blue water ,the hotel gave us a cool box with beer, water and soda daily and we had allocated sun loungers at no extra cost ready waiting by the friendly beach staff. The beach never really got busy but did have a few locals visit in the afternoon.

The local town is literally a 15/20 minute walk which has coffee shops, shopping precincts, pharmacies and supermarkets, which we ventured to on a rainy morning.

If I have any criticism it would be that a few areas need a little TLC , The gym equipment requires maintenance, hotel pool, (a few mosaic tiles missing), no evening entertainment, (would have loved to hear a steel band) like other Caribbean resorts we had been to.

Vladimir the manager of the hotel was very pleasant and was keen to hear comments from guests to see where improvements were needed as he was new this year to SoCo house.

What you have to realise is it’s not a Hilton Hotel and it has its quirkiness which to us is what the Caribbean Is about .

Good value for money and we loved our 10 day stay at SoCo house in beautiful St Lucia .

My 10 day stay in July was fantastic despite having a knee injury. Vladimir the GM was kind with a warm presence and approachable demeanor. On arrival Cindi greet us with a warm welcome and a glass of bubbly and Fidell was there to take our cases to the room. Beautiful clean hotel, rooms cleaned on a daily basis, thank you lovely housekeepers. Lobby pool and surrounding areas kept immaculate by Tony and Baba. Spa therapist Ketura was gentle soothing and professional. All meals served A la carte, food was exquisite fresh and full of deep strong and satisfying flavour. Thank you chefs and Restaurant staff. There is a bar in the lobby area and one at the poolside. Awesome cocktails...Alex Garvin Rose Yannel Nazzia Warner and Charles they know how to make every drink look and taste good. Thank you guys. There is a small boutique where Solange work lovely lady and so helpful. Eloise Jevoy Cindie Fidell Gideon Elker Tasha Jane George Larna Cleopha Leah Keloynna Akill Sharline and anyone else I have not mentioned thank all you beautiful friendly people in Soco House for your great service and hard work. Their positive energy and professional efficiency with heartfelt care was amazing . I love to come back !

We stayed 8/2026 for 6 nights.

Exceptional service, food and location. We deeply enjoyed our stay at SoCo House! Starting with the booking with Janel. She helped us through all questions to help guide us here. It’s right next to riddles bay / Rodney’s beach, very short walk. Vladimir, the GM, welcomed us and was very attentive and accessible to all our questions and needs. The suites, pools, restaurant and bars were lovely. Gavin and Rose were amazing company and kept the drinks flowing ;). All around a very great experience.

The food was delicious and service prompt. We planned to go off resorts for several meals but ended up eating at the SoCo house.

When in town, and if you have a car, we found the drive in valcano, mud bath, and sugar beach super worth the experience. Sugar beach a must. Careful driving though.
