We had a wonderful stay at Bay Gardens Resort in St. Lucia! There was initially a room issue, but it was fixed, and from there our experience was fantastic. The all-inclusive experience was especially interesting because many of the meals were à la carte, which we loved. The food was incredible, and the à la carte options were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the themed dining experiences, including Managers’ Night with a pig roast and the Middle Eastern buffet night. And definitely try the watermelon martini! The resort was also amazing when it came to accommodating allergies. The staff were incredibly understanding and accommodating, which made dining stress-free and enjoyable since I have celiac disease. I’ve seen some people complain about breakfast, but honestly, we couldn’t understand why. There was practically everything you could want: eggs and an omelette station, pancakes, sausage, bacon, beans, pastries, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, tomatoes, yogurt, and local breakfast dishes. There was truly something for everyone! A special shout-out to several wonderful staff members who made our stay even better. Kell, the fitness instructor, was awesome. Vernice was warm and welcoming as a greeter and in the restaurant. Cressandra provided excellent service, and Alona was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about the island, and provided fantastic customer service. We were also there during a quieter period when there weren't cruise ships in town, and it was absolutely amazing. For anyone wondering how busy the resort gets, our experience was peaceful and relaxing. Overall, Bay Gardens Resort offered incredible food, wonderful staff, great allergy accommodations, and a fantastic St. Lucian experience. We would happily return!
Baygardens Beach Resort is truly a gem. The staff are amazing and they go above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable. The resorts facilities were great and the food at Bayside was scrumptious, we enjoyed the mixture of local dishes on the menu. My family and I had an amazing stay. We would recommend Baygardens to everyone we know.
This is my second time vacationing here. The staff, food and activities are great. The maintenance of the rooms horrible.
This family-friendly resort has an excellent location. The resort is right on the beach, looking out over the Caribbean. After a five to ten minute walk down the road you will find many of the local restaurants, so there is plenty available if you choose not to eat at the resort itself.
If you rent a vehicle, it is a quick half hour drive in to Castries if you want to see the sights and do some shopping. If you drive around the bay to the North side, you can get to Pigeon Island National Park, where you will find the remains of Fort Rodney and Signal Hill. Pigeon Island is a 15 minute drive away, since you have to go all the way around the bay to get there.
The staff are mostly friendly and helpful (though the restaurant servers are not the fastest or most attentive), the resort is well equipped and kept mostly clean, and the rooms are spacious.
My room's chaise lounge cushion was upside down. When I flipped it over I discovered why: there were multiple brown marks on the side that was supposed to be the top. It didn't particularly bother me, so I flipped it back over.
This resort is great for those travelling with kids. There is a kid's club on site, and there is an inflatable amusement park out in the water very close to the resort.
