It was the first time ever doing a resort day pass and we genuinely had the time of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sean, who took the time to explain everything we needed to know. We had lots of questions, and he patiently answered every single one. He gave us great tips on how to make the most of our day, and that really set the tone for an amazing experience. The resort itself is beautiful and HUGE! At first, we thought a printed map would have been helpful for navigating, but we quickly realized we didn't need one because every staff member we encountered was more than willing to point us in the right direction with a smile. We started our day with breakfast at the buffet, where we were served by the amazing Miss Glenda. She welcomed us with such warmth and infectious energy that we knew we'd be coming back later for lunch and we did! She and her team surprised me by singing Happy Birthday and presenting me with a celebratory dessert plate. It completely caught us off guard in the best possible way! They danced, cheered, and made me feel incredibly special. Despite arriving close to the end of breakfast service, the buffet still offered a fantastic variety of food. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served at the proper temperature. I'd also like to give a special mention to the lovely lady serving the ice cream, she was so cheerful and kind, and Lynch on the pasta station, very cool people! After breakfast, we relaxed on the beach, which was absolutely stunning, clean sand, clear water, and the perfect place to unwind. We spent some time at what I believe was the Sands Bar (I hope I got the name right!), and the bartenders there were honestly some of our favorite people we met all day. Ash somehow figured out we were locals almost immediately, but that didn't change the way he treated us one bit. He made us feel just as valued as any international guest, kept the drinks flowing, chatted with us, and even gave us recommendations on what to do next around the resort. Xavi was equally wonderful. He happily took photos for us and regularly checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. A big thank you as well to Devaugne, who was always quick with our drink orders and offered great suggestions whenever we wanted to try something new. Later in the afternoon, we joined the foam party, and the entertainment team absolutely brought the energy from beginning to end! They had everyone dancing and having an incredible time. We also had two photographers stop us throughout the day, Kaviere and another lovely lady whose name I unfortunately can't remember. They made us feel like we were having a professional photoshoot! Although we didn't get the chance to purchase the photos, the experience itself was so much fun and added to an already unforgettable day. What stood out most wasn't just the beautiful resort or the delicious food, it was the people. Every single staff member we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed, celebrated, and appreciated. Hospitality like that can't be taught, it comes from people who truly care about creating memorable experiences for their guests. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making my 30th birthday so special. We'll always remember it, and we definitely look forward to coming back. If you're considering a day pass at Royalton, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!
We stayed at the Royalton Saint Lucia during the first week of July to attend our daughter's wedding. Although we experienced a few issues with the pre-check-in process and restaurant reservations, we had a wonderful stay overall. The wedding was beautiful, and the food served that day was excellent. A special thank you to Shane and Vejay at the main pool for making us feel so welcome and valued throughout our stay. Shane is a fantastic country singer and an excellent dancer, while Vejay's energy, enthusiasm, and friendly personality made every day by the pool enjoyable. They are both exceptional entertainers and a true asset to the Royalton Saint Lucia team. They played a big part in making our vacation—and such an important family celebration—truly unforgettable. One area that could be improved was the entertainment at the Sports Club. Unfortunately, the DJ did not seem to take the crowd's preferences into account and often played music that did not match the atmosphere or the advertised theme. On Latin Night, I even approached him to ask where and when the Latin party would be taking place, hoping he would realize that the music being played was not Latin music. Unfortunately, he did not take the hint, and the playlist never reflected the theme of the evening. A better understanding of the audience and music appropriate to the event would have made the experience much more enjoyable. The service at several of the restaurants was also quite slow, and on some evenings it was unnecessarily difficult to be seated. Even when tables appeared to be available, the seating process often took longer than expected, which affected the overall dining experience. Improving the efficiency of the service and making the seating process more organized would greatly enhance guests' enjoyment of the restaurants. Overall, despite these areas for improvement, we had a memorable vacation. The beautiful resort, friendly staff, and outstanding service from people like Shane and Vejay made our daughter's wedding an unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone at the Royalton Saint Lucia for helping make such a special family occasion even more memorable.
As a well traveled infldividual, a military veteran, and a 28 year law enforcement veteran; I was particularly appalled at the treatment I received by the staff at the Royalton Hideaway St. Lucia. The food by far was subpar, There were no food options between 11am -12:30 pm. The jacuzzi hottub was unavailable after 6:30pm daily which is ludicrous for a resort. Because the resort refused to add my Marriott bonvoy points to my account, I refuse to stay here again. To add insult to injury the bell hop refused to let me leave the resort without proof of a zero balance almost causing Me to miss my transportation to the airport which was 90 minutes away. Tread lightly...
Royalton St Lucia - The resort was beautifully maintained. However, it was boring. The entire resort closes at 10:00pm. There wasn’t any entertainment at all. There was no clear separation between the Adult Hideaway and the family side. The staff were rude. The dress code was obnoxious, you couldn’t wear hats or sleeveless shirts to meals. The pools close early. The jacuzzi water was cold, the jets were not on my entire stay. The bars ran out of alcohol. I do not recommend staying at this resort.
The room and the resort is beautiful, but there was no entertainment, the resort close down early, they where very strict on unnecessary dress code, most of the staff wasn't friendly and if you are going to have an only adult side it needs to be better organized with the pool and jacuzzi being located for the hideaway side. They ran out of liquor several times and im not really a drinker ,at the sports bar the worker was using dirty cups.so I would not recommend this resort and I travel the world.
