Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My first visit to Negril at Westender Inn. Stunning view from Ocean side. Watching and listening to the waves by the bar. There’s no better way to unwind. The hotel grounds were filled with beautiful flowers. My room was clean and comfortable.
It was a pleasure to meet Bundeno he was friendly, welcoming and professional making my check in process smoothly. Parchy at the bar he made amazing drinks, provided fantastic service, and had such great attitude. Brian thank you so much for taking me where l needed to go. I really appreciate your kindness and help. Takes pride in maintaining his car. Very clean smells nice. Shout out to the chef Rase food was very nice thank you. Recommend shrimp pasta. Kemar thank you for sorting out the fan so quickly l really appreciate your help and excellent service.
Staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help. Made my stay enjoyable.
Would highly recommend.
We had a very relaxing stay. This will now be our go to spot in Negril. The property is alittle set back from the main Negril stretch, however the hotel provides a shuttle bus( check at time of booking) We had an amazing sea front room. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Bondeno who we found very attentive and efficient. There are two sides to the hotel, our preference was the side closer to the sea. The grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers and are clearly recovering swiftly post hurricane Melissa. Lovely place ❤️ we will be back. UK family
I rented a garden view with stove frig and suite. The room was like living in the 1800. The furniture was out dated . It was dark and smelled. The fridge was an old white outdated that look like it came from the good will. The bath was old and the curtains were one curtain on a single rod and smelled I have never paid so much money to stay in a dump . I had to climb like 15 steps to get to the room . It reminded me me of a run down shelter. The night manager was sweet but they should have been ashamed to rent that place to any body, I had to stay one night because I had no place to go I was stuck after flying thousands of miles to get here . This is horrific. I book through trip advisor never again
Very disappointed in the Westender Inn. After 90 days of unsuccessfully trying to receive a legitimate deposit refund, had to turn to our trip insurance to get our money back. We were going to reschedule, but not now. I see on TripAdvisor this has happened to others. No response to our continued emails and voicemails. We did finally receive a call, but was told they could not process our refund due to technical issues. We contacted our bank to make sure there was not a problem. We were assured a refund could be processed. The icing on the cake. . .Westender asked for our bank account information. Seriously?!?! Beware!!!
This is just a WARNING to fellow travelers. I never actually got to visit this hotel BUT I did make a reservation and emailed the Inn to confirm that I was making a refundable reservation within their cancellation policy. I received an email confirming that I could cancel the reservation and receive a full refund. I reserved rooms for Feb 2026. I had to cancel in early Nov 2025 and, despite having received confirmation of my cancellation and that I was due a refund, it's been 7 weeks and I still don't have a refund. The Inn has stopped responding and they have not answered the dispute inquiry from my credit company. This is very, very disheartening and should be taken as a warning by others - don't rely on the cancellation policy on their website or even on their acknowledgement of the refund policy.
