Located on the Montego Bay seafront, in a bay surrounded by forests and mountains, 30 minutes from Montego Bay airport. 11 km from Falmouth, the capital of Trelawny, a charming city with a well-preserved Georgian architectural complex.
This exclusive Caribbean resort is perfectly located along the shores of Montego Bay. Ocean Coral Spring has exclusive suites, themed restaurants, meeting rooms, a Despacio Spa Centre, a scuba dive center and a wide range of sports and entertainment options, including a children's water playground and family bowling alley. An exclusive adults only section, will be part of a second phase.
I stayed at Ocean Coral Springs for 3 days to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The experience started a little off as check in was not smooth and I waited 35 minutes in line with 3 persons in front of me. Luckily, I encountered Mekhalia at the front desk who apologized and gave exceptional service and support at the desk.
I was also promised via email certain amenities from guest services to be done with the room for the birthday experience which wasn’t done upon check in. I had to request it being done while checking in which was a bit frustrating.
The thermostat didn’t work the first night in the room and again, Mekhalia had to demand it being dealt with. She made my stay 100% better after all the inconveniences.
I must say, I still had a wonderful time separate and apart of these events. The property was beautiful and clean, same for the room and it offered great night entertainment. Martha’s Market had excellent breakfast options and the Sakura Restaurant via renovations was really a vibe.
The pool side entertainment was awesome as well. Big shout out to Latoya (Bartender) and Sabrina (Poolside DJ), wonderful, wonderful service. My experience at the pool wouldn’t have been complete without yall. The foam party was also very good and much fun.
Overall, with improvements regarding the check in and check out process, guest services offering what’s promised, I would definitely visit again. The birthday experience was still met and we had an amazing weekend. Again, thanks to Mekhalia, Latoya and Sabrina. Appreciate you guys!
Big shout out to Omar, Janell and Phillip from the front desk. I hope you raise their pays! Also Ricardo from Valet.
The ladies in grey in the lobby 10/10 love u guys.
Big shout out to the frintdesk team. Shout out to Omar, Phillip, Janel the property was amazing lovely people.
Amazing services! Would definitely recommend to family and friends! A massive thank you to Phillip and Shannon for advising me through my stay!
The property was beautiful. The beach was not as I expected. You better bring aqua shoes if you want to get in the water. The kindness of the staff was about 50% great and the other rude. I was mostly disgusted with the Privilege sales pitch they try and force you to listen to. they offer you a free spa but when you show up the next morning they inform you that you have to meet with a sales person, have breakfast with them, then do a one hour tour of the Privilege suites. I didn't pay all that money to look at a time share! When i told them we didn't come to Jamaica for a sales pitch they were so rude. AIR CONDITIONIG! Our room was at a preset number, 25.5% degrees Celsius. That's 79 degrees Fahrenheit! Room temperature never got below that. Every restaurant was hot. Bottled water. Forget about it! It is treated like gold apparently. We asked every morning for our fridge to be restocked with water. It only happened once our entire trip and they said it was a two bottle max. What five star advertised resort wont give you as many waters as you want? No bottled water at the pool and don't think about ordering food to eat at the pool because that isn't allowed. the food was great but the menu selection at the restaurants is very limited and if you want lobster its extra and expensive. If this resort advertised as a # star then it would be as advertised. And lastly, what 5 star resort doesn't have transportation to and from the airport? i was totally on my own arranging transportation and it was sketchy and expensive.
