Wonderful experience at the Waves.
Nice hotel with excellent choice of food at the Little River buffet restaurant. Comfortable rooms. Fairly good entertainment. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Top on the list is Vanessa our concierge. She is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She helped make our stay smooth and stress free. If you happen to book reservations there, make sure to ask for Vanessa to be your concierge :) Other staff member Charles was also good with his presentation. Good hotel to visit.

Great experience! Jermaine with the entertainment team made it a fun experience constantly being welcoming and getting everyone out of their shell! Will go back and recommend 10/10!

saddens me not to be coming back for 2027
i’ve always enjoyed going to iberostar. I’ve been there three times. My favorite part is going down to the beach and laying watching the ocean breeze and interacting with the hustlers on the beach. They are very entertaining and let you see the true insides of Jamaica. they’ve always been so friendly like the ambassadors of Jamaica welcoming us there. God knows the staff of Iberostar pretty much ignores you. I have learned this year that they have been treating the hustlers very bad not letting them come to sell their wares. saddens me because I really want to see them, so unfortunately, we have chosen another place to stay for January 2027 tripthis year. hopefully Iberostar gets their act together and realizes a lot of us that come there Enjoy going to the beach and interacting with the hustlers. hopefully they soon realize that the hustlers are just trying to do their job too. I think there’s room for both of them. They stay in the water all day rarely coming up on the beach to make a sale. It’s sad that in such a poor country they try to keep those people down and not let them make their living. I hope others that still choose to go to Iberostar stick up for the hustler’s rights.. I have met some really nice people down there and they’re always friendly. They will talk to everyone, but if you choose not to talk to them, they do go away.. if you get the opportunity to visit with the hustlers, you will be surprised at what they know and what their lives are like. There’s room for everyone in the world. I hope I hear in the next year that things change there because I would really to come back for my 2028 trip
