We came to The Royalton for a mother/daughter birthday trip. This was our first visit to the island and this property, and we chose to upgrade to the Diamond Club. So glad we did! Our butlers, Beverly and Marcus were amazing. They took wonderful care of us, and they surprised us by decorating our room, and our dinner table for a special birthday meal. Out at the beach and by the pool, Dermany, provided exceptional service with drinks and food. He was so nice and professional! It was a fantastic week on a beautiful property, made even better by the amazing staff!
Amazing vacation
This is our 3rd time staying at this resort in their over water bungalow. We just love the atmosphere and peacefulness here. Our butler Earl just makes the vacation that much better. He is very attentive to detail and can pretty much source and get you anything your heart desires. On his days off Khem stepped up as butler and was really good. It is so nice to be able to fully relax here. We stayed for 2 weeks and our friend came down the first week. She had so much h fun.
Dreadful
Currently here. Was here 2 yrs ago was lovely. This time ....not good. Restaurants listed not all open. Lots of food on menu..not available. Standard of resort hugely decreased. Might I mention also .. as Currently here. Entertainment in lobby is shocking. The DJ music seems to entertain the staff but tonight it cleared the lobby by 22 15. This isn't vacation vibes...not everyone wants to listen to the music pounding at full volume that isn't music for a wide variety of clients. Read the room!!!! Im on vacation and the bar was emptied by 22 15?????? Disappointing on all levels on 2nd visit.. 2 more days to endure ...we spent seriously big money to travel here .. never ever again. The staff are amazing...they unfortunately have to deal with so much abuse as management don't afford them the proper food to serve. ..the proper anything to provide a half decent experience! Management here should be ashamed.. this place was ok...not anymore. We have been...twice... We WONT be back!
The most PERFECT honeymoon 💖
We had the most AMAZING experience at Royalton Antigua! From start to finish, everything was absolutely wonderful. The entire resort was beautiful, incredibly clean, and everything went so smoothly throughout our stay.
We came here for our honeymoon, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it feel special. A HUGE thank you to our incredible butlers, Earl and Khem, who helped make our stay so memorable! Their hospitality and attentiveness made the experience even better.
The food was AMAZING! We genuinely enjoyed everything, and the culinary experience was phenomenal! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and something we highly recommend.
We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows, and if you’re considering booking one, DO IT! They are absolutely the way to go and made our honeymoon feel like a dream.
Between the beautiful resort, delicious food, wonderful staff, and incredible accommodations, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. We felt so welcomed and taken care of throughout our entire stay.
10/10 experience, and we would absolutely recommend Royalton Antigua to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation!
Disappointed
We had two birthdays and an anniversary and our group of 10 people and they did not do anything for them until after being contacted several times I requested this before we even arrived at the resort. When checking in I reminded them no problem. They will get that taken care of. Couldn’t get a golf cart. My husband walks with a cane, only stocked our mini bar twice in seven days and that’s because I had to call and ask. try to get reservations for the restaurants. The Girl was not there, when she was there, we were told you could make reservations up until 3 o’clock. We went down at 1 o’clock to make reservations for that night was told could not do that. . Guest Services did get one of those made for us. One of the couples television didn’t work and after five days, they finally came up and replaced it. nibbles was not open until the last couple of days we were there they ran out of food at the cart that they tried to set up down by the pool. people at the pool bar were not friendly at all.. There was hardly anybody at the hotel while we were there from October 6 to the 13th. It was off-season. Was there two years ago and it was a great experience. I am a travel agent That’s why I took People with us. I have sent a lot of people to this hotel but after this experience, I will no longer. I was charged $195 after I had checked out and left the Resort. They gave me an email address that I have not been able contact anybody on because it keeps getting kicked back. We saw a lot of roaches around the buffet restaurant also had several in our room, killed a small one crawling on the wall.
