The resort offers a choice of four secluded beaches, making this an ideal choice for sun lovers to escape the crowds and completely switch off and unwind. The island of Antigua is known for its laid back charm, and you'll find the atmosphere at the Hawksbill is completely in keeping.
The hotel itself presents a welcoming array of traditional Antiguan style bungalows dotting the shoreline. Garden bungalows are twin or double an offer attractive garden views. All have en suite facilities and feature a safe, ceiling fan and mini fridge. Superior sea view rooms and bungalows are available at a supplement.
The Hawksbill offers a perfect mix of amenities to offer guests the chance to unwind as well as some choices for leisure and amusement. In addition to the choice of beaches and a hotel pool, you will also be able to take advantage of the Wellness Centre. There is also choice of two restaurants and bars and a delicious selection of dishes and refreshments to tempt you.

Hawksbill Resort – 7 Day Recap
After seven days at Hawksbill Resort, here’s my take.
If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing Caribbean escape, this place delivers. No loud music, no animation team, no constant interruptions—just the sound of the waves, beautiful beaches, a great pool, and plenty of places to unwind.
I stayed in a Royal Palm beachfront bungalow, and it was worth it. Waking up steps from the ocean every morning never got old. While one section of the beach is rocky, there are sandy areas just a short walk away with easy access to the water.
The staff have been consistently friendly and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. Drinks are generous (very generous), and the food has been consistently enjoyable throughout the week.
As for vacation achievements: I successfully transported margaritas in my water bottle, somehow lost a battle with inflating a floatie, and despite my best efforts, my better half made sure I never turned into the lobster I aspired to be.
I’ve met some wonderful people from Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and England, and that has made an already relaxing vacation even better.
Overall, Hawksbill isn’t a luxury five-star resort—and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a simple, laid-back, adults-only resort with beautiful scenery, genuine hospitality, and exactly the kind of peaceful atmosphere many people are looking for.
Sometimes the best vacations aren’t about doing everything—they’re about doing absolutely nothing.

Chilled and relaxing resort
This was our second visit for our honeymoon. There is no place like Hawksbill. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The value for money is excellent. We will be back.
Beautiful and Relaxing
I really enjoyed my time at Hawksbill. Upon arrival we were greeted at reception with a glass of champagne and a cool towel. I stayed in one of the beach bungalows, which was very clean and had a huge bathroom. The resort had snorkeling right off the beach, kayaks, and SUPs that were included in the rate. I enjoyed the food, for the most part. Breakfast was more of the same every day, but dinners at the buffet were different themed every night. I especially enjoyed the Caribbean night-delicious!
There was nightly entertainment, the beaches were clean and it was the perfect place to relax.
Staff were friendly, and very helpful. Especially Dalston! Shout out to my favorite bartender who always had a smile on his face. I also appreciated the ladies at reception who connected us with a great taxi service into town.
My only complaint, which I hope they will work on (and which I put in their survey) is that the housekeeping schedule is a little odd. They would come in the morning to clean, and sometimes take all the towels (whether dirty ones on the floor or hung up and not used) and then not return until late in the day, sometimes even at 4:00, with fresh ones. this left me towel-less one day after a morning at the beach and I couldn't take a shower because they had taken all my towels. Even the clean ones.
But still, my friends and I had an amazing and relaxing time at Hawksbill Resort, and we would go again in a heartbeat!

Perfect
I am so glad we found this hotel they saved our holiday we were originally in a different hotel which was awful and booked here in a desperate attempt to salvage our time in Antigua. This was the best decision everything about this place is amazing the staff, the food, the beaches I wish we had booked there originally and I can’t wait to return. Pamella, David, Ziggy, Gres, Sharon, shahkilla you were all amazing we cannot thank you enough. The watersports team were so funny and happy to help. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough loved it thank you so so much you made us so happy

OKAY FOR THE MONEY
It is always difficult to write your own review when you read many positive comments. Would I return like so many others have done, no. Did I enjoy it? I guess so.
My sister and I had a garden bungalow and from verandah had a view of the sea. Inside not luxury, quite sparse. No bathroom door and open fronted shower. Thankfully a door to toilet. Feedback to hotel was to hang a shower curtain. Not sure my sister enjoyed the sight of my backside whilst showering! TV on wall if you could master how to use - no instructions. Now normally wouldn't bother about TV but literally after dinner not much happening. Tamarind Tree restaurant which accommodated dinner had music whilst eating but Seagrapes bar closed around 10 except when world cup was on.
Be aware from the garden bungalow the walk to Tamarind Tree involves a bit of a hilly walk and in 30 degree heat isnt comfortable.
The infinity pool is great but note there is no bar. You have to walk up to Tamarind Tree. Sometimes a guy comes around to take orders but on one occasion waited 30 mins for a glass of water.
To be honest food was hit and miss both for lunch and dinner. Too many themed evenings and if Mexican or Chinese isnt your thing then there is no other choice. I would try and find out menu for that day and if nothing we fancied took a late lunch in PD Grills or Seagrapes and didn't eat evening. Note you can get fries in Seagrapes but not on menu in Tamarind or PD Grills.
Can recommend the Adventure Xtreme circumnavigation powerboat excursion, brill. Highlight of our stay.
Watch out for the ducks at mealtimes in Seagrapes. One actually took a bath in the infinity pool - cheek of it! Was more worried it was gonna leave us a present!
Found staff very friendly and accommodating.
