Riu Tikida Dunas

Hotel is amazing. The rooms are so clean and maids are lovely! staff are all friendly and helpful. The moroccan restaurant was so good! there’s about 6 or 7 little kittens they are so adorable but hide away because they are scared. So many options at buffet loads of fresh food you don’t need to wait ages for etc eggs or bacon. Loads of fruit and vegetable options. Loads of sunbeds so you don’t need to leave the room at 6am to fight for sunbeds there’s plenty some even stacked up. Quite a nice atmosphere no fights or anything. Agadir is 100% safe for tourists had no hassle at all, you get the odd person on the street trying to sell you something but they back off as soon as you say no. I don’t have anything to complain about except from the woman at the till in the boutique / shop she was very rude. At first she wouldn’t do cash because she didn’t want to give change back for 100 durham over a pack of chewing gum. We went back later in the week to buy presents for friends / family and then apparently won’t do card she was very rude didn’t smile chat or anything kind of just looked at you. She gave us the wrong change we got 400 durham out the atm she wanted 391 for she gave us 80 cent back when she should’ve gave us 9 durham back think she was at it!!!!! some of the stuff in shop was a bit overpriced you could definetly get cheaper in the souk market. She was the only negative in the hotel that’s why i have only given 4 ⭐️ apart from that everything was great.

This is our second visit to this hotel in two years and you could slightly see a downturn in certain things but nothing too major to worry about or interfere with the holiday itself. so firstly front of house were very nice and accommodating as we arrived late 11.30p.m. to be exact, to be told that we could get a bite to eat in the moroccan restaurant, this was good but found it to be warmish and as if it had been standing a while but something are better than nothing.

as we opened the door to our room 4120 all you could smell was really bad dampness all over, as if it had been shut up for a month. I guess we're all the same when we go away check this check that etc etc.

Although the room as a whole was good there was the bit of grout falling out rust on the edges of mirror blah blah blah , should i just say tired.

The food was ok, bulk standard all incusive, something for everyone and whoever says they didnt find anything to eat must be mad or fussy.......

The pool area was clean and fairly easy to find a sunbed or you could of just asked the pool man and he went to get sunbeds and a parasol for you.

Entertainment..............well whaty can i say, you decide, lololol

Hadjid in the dining hall , he's a complete character making all his guests feel so welcomed, secretly my favorite guy. Salma again in the dining areas what very nice young girl, very attentive

Flights home awful, out of the room at 12 transfer pickup 18.40, flight 22.05, gatwick 02.55, home at 05.30 , shattered.

All in all a very very nice hotel, holiday, can't really moan about anything. We will go back for a 3rd time thats how much we liked it.

This was my third visit here but the first with my friend. Check in: Very friendly and informative. We had to go back as we arrived too early to get into our room. When we went back we got the room key and were taken to our room by the guys on a buggy. We were advised to hang on tight as they zoomed round the site. Fun start to the holiday! Room: We couldn't get our air con to work but the fan, although noisy, kept the room comfortable. Beds were clean but a little noisy. We always had adequate hot water and towels in the bathroom. We had a lovely sea view from the balcony. Our first night we had an issue with the shower and within 45 minutes of putting this onto the app someone arrived to fix it. We mentioned we had also found an issue with a light and he assured us he would sort this out. We were just on our way out but when we returned everything had been sorted. We had a couple of occasions where we needed to contact housekeeping and again everything was sorted out within the hour. Food & Drink: We always found something to eat. We never had a problem getting a table and in the evening offers of water and drink were prompt. Again staff were lovely. The drinks could be a little hit & miss but again we always found something. Staff: This is where this hotel really gains points. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Most spoke good English as well which is always a bonus and not to be taken for granted. Pools: My friend assured me that they were cold but good for cooling down. They seemed to be cleaned daily and it looked as though the sunbeds and parasols had been updated since I was here in July 2025. Entertainment: The team were enthusiastic and friendly. Evening entertainment left a little bit to be desired but a lot of energy was poured into it. Summary: I would definitely come back to this hotel. In July my husband and I were at the Riu Palace Agadir and much prefer the Riu Tikida Dunas. This place is a gem and for a short flight from the UK it's a no brainer.
