At the Golden Beach, guests are invited to experience the exceptional mix of the contemporary and the traditional Moroccan culture.
Our guests can enjoy the many Golf courses in Agadir that are 10 minutes drive away from the Apart'Hotel: Golf les Dunes, Golf de l'Océan, Golf du Soleil et le Royal Golf d'Agadir.
The Golden Beach features a unique traditional berber architecture and our apartments are both cosy and functional. The Apart'Hotel comprises an outdoors swimming pool, a large Moroccan lounge, a restaurant as well a mini-supermarket. Our reception staff is available 24/24 and a free on-site parking is available to our guests.
The location was great, close to the beach, restaurants nearby, easy walk along the promenade to the louder, busier areas or very easy & cheap to get a taxi. The rooms were a great size & we had a balcony. We were in a junior suite - the only thing was there was no door on the bedroom. The pool area was great, the service was brilliant & was great value for money. We were very happy with our stay here. A big shout out to Omar in the car park who always greeted us with a big smile and was always super helpful.
Very accommodating & friendly, the reception & restaurant staff were very helpful. The apartment was beautiful & was cleaned daily.
Anazing Kehdeja at reception is the best and the location to the beach is perfect
The location is very good, close to the beach. Taxis are easily available nearby; a one-way trip to Souk El Had for four people costs around €4–5. The hotel itself was acceptable. We stayed in a junior suite with one double bed and two sofa beds. We had a partly ocean view. The room was equipped with a microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, and cutlery, but there was no kettle. Housekeeping was provided daily; however, the room would benefit from a deep clean. The curtains and the table were quite dirty — when we wiped the table with water and a tissue, it turned black. We booked half-board, which was disappointing. Breakfast was a buffet mainly consisting of pastries. Omelets were available upon request, but there was no ham or sausage. The selection included bread, cheese, a coffee machine, and Moroccan tea. Dinner was served as a daily set menu with two options, written in French. Unfortunately, the food quality and taste were below expectations. We stayed at the hotel over New Year’s Eve; unfortunately, there was nothing special organized to mark the occasion or make the evening feel festive. It would also have been more appropriate and enjoyable if Arabic music had been played in the restaurant instead of Western music, as it would have better reflected the local atmosphere. Hicham at the restaurant (I believe that was his name — the gentleman with glasses and braces) was exceptionally kind and polite. There is also a small shop conveniently located next to the hotel.
I stayed at Golden Beach Appart’Hôtel with my family for one week on a half-board basis. Unfortunately, the food was very repetitive — the same menu every day for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had no meat, fish, or fruit, only one type of porridge (always the same) and just one egg option.
When we arrived, the hotel couldn’t find our booking — they didn’t know anything about our reservation and hadn’t even read the emails I had sent. They also didn’t know whether our meals were included. Everyone seemed very confused and disorganised.
In our room, the balcony door lock was broken, so it couldn’t be locked, which made us feel unsafe. Overall, the experience was disappointing and far below expectations.
