The breakfast buffer was absolutely amazing. All the food was freshly prepared with a large variety of options to chose from. The waitstaff was excellent also. Nacer was our personal host and he was extremely helpful and his service was outstanding. He made sure we had everything we needed. We also received additionally help from Samir, Simo, and Noaha that made our breakfast experience complete.
Hotel is beautiful & the staff is super friendly & helpful. The breakfast is vast & delicious, Nacer, Samir, Simo & Nouha made our dining experience special by taking excellent care of our every wish & making suggestions for us. Truly enjoyable experience in Marrakech!!
I booked a stay at Sofitel Marrakech for my clients, and they had a fantastic experience. They were impressed by the warm welcome, the beautiful surroundings, and the high level of service throughout their stay.
The rooms were comfortable and elegant, the facilities were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make every moment enjoyable. My clients especially appreciated the professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail shown by the entire team.
Thank you to everyone at Sofitel Marrakech for providing such exceptional hospitality. I truly appreciate the care you gave my clients, and I look forward to booking many more guests with you in the future. Highly recommended!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Sofitel Marrakech. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Lots of restaurants and dining options. The staff, Nezha, Hamamsi, Efgharbia, Simo Dehbi, Raouia, Hasam and Sedik were great and very pleasant professionals.
Very disappointing stay.
If you value your sleep, don't stay here. The noise coming from the Nobu rooftop area is unbearable. The evening starts with loud music from the rooftop venue, followed by people shouting outside, then cars sounding their horns and traffic noise that continues until around 6am. For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury destination, getting a decent night's sleep was almost impossible.
What made the experience even more frustrating was that I specifically requested a room away from the noise. Despite this, I was moved to a room almost directly opposite the source of the disturbance. When I raised concerns, I was assured that the new room would not be affected by the noise. That turned out to be completely untrue.
The service throughout the stay was surprisingly poor for a hotel of this standard. The service is slow and unorganised. Check-in involved three separate staff members and counters. In contrast, at check-out there was only one person handling departures at a separate reception desk, resulting in delays and an underwhelming end to the stay. More generally, requests were not handled effectively, communication between staff appeared lacking, and there was little sense of urgency when guest concerns were raised.
The hotel itself has attractive facilities, a good location and some lovely staff, but neither can compensate for sleepless nights and service that falls well short of five-star expectations. Given the rates charged, I expected a relaxing and polished luxury experience. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and unlikely to return.
