Pestana CR7 Marrakech

​Pestana CR7 Marrakech was our natural choice since my son is a huge football fan. I can’t even describe his excitement getting photos taken next to all the portraits and trophy replicas throughout the hotel! ​Even before we arrived, my experience started on a great note. I needed to adjust our reservation due to a change in our travel plans, and the reservation team was fast, cordial, and helpful. ​Upon check-in, we realized the hotel’s design skews toward a younger, trendy crowd. I had booked a suite, and the initial one allocated to us had an open-concept washroom design. Travelling as a family with a child, we preferred a private shower setup. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and promptly reassigned us to a suite that better suited our needs. Staying true to the sporty theme, the suite featured a sleek, minimalist design while offering all necessary amenities, including a lovely balcony to soak in the atmosphere. ​The location is ideal—it offers a pleasant, peaceful walk away from the bustling city crowd while still being surrounded by plenty of great cafes and restaurants. ​Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was another highlight. The space is large, and the fresh bakery items along with the tea were a delightful way to start each morning. ​While getting through to the hotel team over the phone was occasionally challenging, the on-site support from the staff was consistently warm and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pestana CR7 Marrakech and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Okay so i told the man at guest services that I almost slid in the women's bathroom in the lobby. I showed him these photos. No sense of urgency. A guest age 67 almost flies on the flooded floor in the public bathroom an no response. Not even " Pardonez". .

Had a 4 night 5 day stay at Pestana CR7 Check in was quick and simple Reception staff so helpful and polite We were in room 143 which sadly overlooked the rear of the hotel so no view as such It would have been nice to have a room with a view of the Avenue Room was spacious and spotlessly clean Huge shower, fridge, microwave and separate sink from bathroom area House keeping were fab they came in every day to clean and replace towels and sheets were changed every other day Another guest mentioned no drying rack on balcony We didn’t have one either It would have been nice to have one to dry our towels and that way they wouldn’t have needed to be changed every day Breakfast was great plenty of choices from fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes Fresh bread, jams, pastries, cold meat and cheeses The rooftop pool was fab The sun loungers were so comfortable and lovely soft towels provided The young men at the pool were really helpful and polite Every member of staff was lovely and helpful I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 as what let the hotel down was the female in the spa ( Ikram ) Reception said that we could use the pool and spa once we’d checked out ( 12.00) we would be heading to the airport about 4pm Our luggage was left with reception and they said i could shower at the spa and use a locker OMG how difficult was it to get a locker in the spa You’d think i was asking Ikram for the earth I just wanted to hang my clothes in the locker but she turned it into such a big deal She kinda spoilt what was a wonderful little break We booked a taxi to head to the Medina /Souks Be advised to tell the taxi driver you want to go straight there otherwise ( as he did with us ) he will take you into one of the shops in the hope that you will buy something He then walked us to another shop nearby which sold spices and trinkets I then told him “ No more shops “ and he then dropped us to where we wanted to go If the taxi drivers ask you if it’s your first time in Marrakech tell them “ no “ Apart from the taxi driver and the sultry member of staff in the spa we had a fab time
