What a fabulous hotel, the food every night was second to none, plenty of options for all sorts of pallets, you will find something you like regardless. The bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team are wicked also. Driss, Ayoub, Mohammed, Maxim, and the boy with the yellow glasses (I forgot his name) are brilliant in the bar, very friendly and would bend over backwards for you. Drinks are on point and they’re more than willing to make your drinks as strong as you want. My only criticism would be that there aren’t enough people collecting glasses. the outside bar had one boy working there alone and that same boy is collecting all of the glasses from around the pool so sometimes it is hit and miss and you might be waiting a while for a drink at the outside bar which then leads to an influx of people going inside and making the inside bar really busy. Other than that it was a great experience would highly recommend and will definitely be coming again.
Really friendly staff super welcoming and theres always something to do during the day, shops nearby provide the things you might need (like us we forgot conditioner and managed to get some from the shop). it was our first holiday together and its been a lovely one, the food is always so delicious and plenty of drinks all round, we were honestly never hungry, 3 meals a day plus snacks at the bar by the pool. All the entertainment staff were amazing, would highly recommend being here on a saturday because thats when the pool party was which was super awesome, fire blowers and a big ol foam machine it was really fun, our time here felt really short but was super relaxing for us, very much so needed i’d recommend!!
We have just come to the end of a wonderful holiday and wanted to leave a honest review. Firstly the hotel grounds are kept well and gardens and Pools are brilliant. The entertainment team are fantastic and work hard day and night and come and talk to you and make you feel welcome. The food is fantastic obviously we are in Africa so you cant expect fish and chips but the local food was good and they always had carved meats like chicken veal beef and we had duck and oysters one night which ive never had in any hotel which was superb. Snack bar does fresh pizza chips nuggets also. The bar by the pool is always unattended as the poor guy has to collect his own glasses so sometimes you get ques there. The lobby bar is hit and miss with some really good staff and some not so good. The rooms were good air con great and cleaned daily with water you do get ants small ones which come in through under the patio door but harmless.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would return.
The hotel need to do a few improvements to take things to next level. Buy 1000 hard plastic glasses this will stop glass glasses by pool and stop the constant chasing of collecting them. Invest in a few glass washers to save staff washing them manually. And get someone to collect enpty glasses not the actual barman. In the room under the patio doors there's a little grove if they fill them in the ants can't get into the room.
Had a great 2 wks holiday, great Entertainment staff who were friendly and approachable. I would recommend 👍🏾
This is one of the best holidays we’ve been on. There were 8 of us in total. 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 children. The bit that made this holiday as special as it was are the pool and bar staff. The guys around the pool are so fun, welcoming and always stop and make the effort to chat to people. They have games all day in and out of the pool and I have never seen so many people willing to participate in daily activities. The lads really made it fun and special.
Mr Tash also made a lot of effort with everyone and really seems to love his job! The children loved it when Mr Tash came around! He was so helpful and informative. Again, he made effort to speak to everyone and get to know people.
Evening entertainment is like nothing I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Such great effort put on by all of the entertainment staff!
The food was good. Very traditional Moroccan tagine with your beige food basics, pastas, nuggets etc but always something different on. I loved that the hot snack bar put on different things. One day it was pizza and the next they had waffles and pancakes. There is an all day snack bar with pastries and fruit.
The spa was an ok experience. Very dated building and not a particularly relaxing experience but it was nice to have tried it. Whilst I waited in the reception area, the relaxing music was drowned by the guy at the desk watching videos on his phone quite loudly. Also the door to a store cupboard was open and you can see the stock and broken draws. It just didn’t feel like a special experience.
The most disappointing part of the holiday is the main reception/ front of house staff. Very rude and bad attitudes. Not very helpful at all. I went to book an à la carte restaurant for my sisters wedding anniversary meal but the woman who was on reception was so rude it put me off so we didn’t bother booking her anniversary meal.
The housekeeping is also very disappointing. Rooms not cleaned, beds were hardly made and we were always waiting for towels. There were 4 of us in a room. The first day we had 4 fresh towels, next day 2, then 3. We were always sharing towels because they weren’t giving us enough. The one day we went back to the room early as we were going on an excursion and there were no towels in the room. I asked the housekeeper for towels and she kept saying 5 minutes, I kept going back and asking but she just kept saying 5 minutes. We all had to get ready using a hand towel to dry off - an hour later, 4 people getting ready to go out and still no towels.
Overall I don’t feel like this is a 4* hotel. It’s definitely got its stars by tick box and not from the overall effort put in to the guests by staff.
Apart from the house keeping and front of house staff, if you have children this is a great holiday. I would recommend it to anyone.
