Xperience Sea Breeze Resort

Rooms very dated but clean. Great selection of pools to choose but struggled to get beds especially near front at beach. Hotel on a steep hill and although we don’t have mobility issues it was a struggle to walk up and down everyday but having the bus helped if we needed it. Main buffet very busy and both had upset stomachs due to undercooked food. Food at poolside bar good at lunch,pizza burgers ect Spoke to a few people with similar issues who fell ill too. Went to Soho Square one evening and glad we did as evening entertainment not the best. Wouldn’t return as hotel more 3 star then 5 but took the risk for a cheap week away. Staff very friendly especially Shady at pool bar. This isn’t the place for us,prefer more modern rooms and becoming ill due to food we wouldn’t return.

Sun and fun all the way! From the airport transport ( Ahmed and Mohamed) until the last day, cleaning ( Jusuf) , restaurant ( Said, Mohamed, Shady and others, entertainment ( Dodo and the girls) the bar att the last building, Kiro was so amazing that we didn't want to try other pool or sea.

Stayed at Xperience Sea Breeze Resort on 10\2026 for 9 nights with 4 family adults aged late 60s -70s who are all active. Am only posting this review to warn future customers that claims by other reviewers and Easy Jet that this is in fact a 5 star (or better!!) resort is highly misleading/untrue or fabricated. We were initially told by the Easy Jet rep that the water was not fit for drinking/teeth brushing etc although the ice cubes provided would be safe. - 5 STAR ? Despite taking precautions all 4 of our party suffered with diarrhoea in varying degrees and for varying periods up to 5 days, although the resort management concluded that we were not in fact ill as we hadn't reported to the on-site doctor for treatment! On-site shopping arcade readily provided medication and digestive biscuits as part of the treatment for what was obviously a very common occurrence. Practically all the other English speaking guests we spoke to had similar experience - 5 STAR? Public toilets were well maintained but instructions to dispose of toilet tissue into the pedal bins (see photo), especially if suffering from diarrhea was more 1970 Greek Taverna than 5 STAR hotel/resort?

WiFi signal almost non-existent in all areas of the hotel, so you may as well leave your devices at home - 5 STAR? Food exceedingly bland - how many ways can you flavour chicken? And the only Wellington (Beef Wellington???!!) I saw was worn by the gardeners. Fresh orange at breakfast was charged at. $2 (US), Beefeater gin would cost you $10 (US) - 5 STAR? (Although the soups, rice pudding and cheese on toast were good, but hardly qualify as fine dining). The accommodation was in 2-3 storey blocks with no lifts - 5 STAR? Despite reporting a very noisy bed to reception on 3 occasions it took the intervention of the EJ rep for the bed to receive attention - 5 STAR? The hotel (resort) had a very narrow footprint surrounded on both sides by much larger 'Resorts' one of which had its large and noisy air con plant machinery behind some very tall screens which impacted on quiet levels around the top pool for most of the day - 5 STAR? Access to the 'beach was down 2 very steep paths, 300 - 400 m long with provision of a frequent bus service. The beach was tiny and disappeared when the tide was in, beds on tiered levels from the 'beach' would have made a sardine feel claustrophobic with well worn non moveable beds. The popular 'stroll along the beach' holiday activity was only in the imagination with each resort fencing off its own small shoreline - 5 STAR? The pools were ok but don't understand why you would travel all the way to the Red Sea to sit around a pool - could do that anywhere warm. There was a jetty you could swim/snorkel off into a small buoyed-off area but again cramped and restricted, couldn't help bumping into other snorkelers - 5 STAR? On the positive side the staff were extremely obliging, particularly towel, bar and pool bar service. Rooms were big and airy, although a little tired, air con, shower and availability of hot water was good. Free shuttle to either Soho Sq or Naama Bay is a useful option although we were not able to use this facility as one or other of our group was too ill to leave the hotel Anyone with any experience of a 5 STAR hotel/resort would rate this a 3-4 Star resort which is reflected in the price and is supported by my specific examples. You get what you pay for.
