The Savoy Hotel

Excellent hotel,excellent service and excellent staff. Location is brilliant and facilities in soho square are excellent really enjoyed our stay and look to return

We arrived here at the end of September, as a family of 4. My review could take a long time to write and read, so I will keep it as compact as possible. First observations of the hotel were amazing, very grand, beautiful rooms and staff that couldn't do enough for you. Food was plentiful and varied. Bar staff, lifeguard and cleaners were amazing. The first 8 days were brilliant until the holiday took a turn for the worst. I caught pneumonia very suddenly and was rushed and admitted to hospital with a temperature of 40 degrees. This left me and my partner in a foreign land trying to negotiate the language barrier with the medical staff. Suddenly from nowhere an amazing lady turned up and saved our sanity and helped navigate us through everything medical and insurance wise. I can never repay Kelly (manager guest relations) for what she did for us both. She even managed to get me discharged when the hospital wouldn't release my passport until the insurance paid out. She was ever present at the hospital and even managed to sort my fit to fly back home out. All of the staff went above and beyond, even on my return to the hotel, all the staff came out to help me in safely. A special thank you also to Mr ezz (duty manager)he was amazing, he helped out converting money arranging extra accommodation days. He even arranged transport to the airport, many thanks again. Another thanks to rasha, the lovely lady in the restaurant who always made us welcome. We cannot wait to return under healthier circumstances
