Located on the idyllic shores of Sharm El Sheikh, this stunning luxury beach front resort sits on its own 450 m stretch of beach, surrounded by a lush tropical landscape and beautiful pools. The airport and the centre of Naama Bay are only 8 km away. Furthermore, there are many great historic and religious attractions located nearby.
This resort and spa offers a unique coastline, embraced by the spectacular land and seascapes of Mother Nature. It is air-conditioned with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities as well as a bar, dining room, conference and parking facilities. Room service is also available. There is also a children's playground.
The resort offers 559 luxurious rooms with modern décor. All room types have an en suite bathroom, mini fridge, in-room safe, hairdryer, complimentary daily local newspaper (on request), high speed Internet access, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, satellite TV, a direct dial telephone with voicemail, individually adjustable air conditioning and heating.
The resort has a magnificent lagoon style swimming pool with a size equivalent to 3 Olympic pools, tennis court, kids' pool and kids club, state-of-the-art Bodyline Fitness Centre, Hammam, plunge pool, sauna, steam room and beach massage, and a games room with billiards and table tennis. The spa features 10 treatment rooms and relaxation areas, with treatments including holistic therapies such as the four-hand massage, traditional Thai massage, body wraps and hydrotherapy. Other signature treatments include sea scrub body polish, after-sun soother, the Cleopatra bath and Aroma deluxe facial. The spa also offers specially designed couples suites and cabanas to ensure guests have a memorable experience. The sandy beach is provided with sun loungers and parasols. Diving and snorkelling, windsurfing and other water sports, horse and camel riding, as well as desert safaris are also available nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Rotana Sharm El Sheikh and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. A special thank you to Mohamed Belal, who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. His genuine care and exceptional efforts made us feel truly welcome. We would happily return!

Great vacation
The hotel is good, family‑friendly, the animators are a good team, and they don’t bother you with services and excursions on the beach — which is surprising. The food is quite varied, the territory is beautiful, and there’s lots of greenery. I recommend it.
I recommend that everyone try this hotel.

An unforgettable stay with truly exceptional hospitality
My mum and I recently spent a wonderful week at Grand Rotana to celebrate her 60th birthday, and I can honestly say it was an experience we will cherish for a very long time.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning surroundings, breathtaking views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. However, what truly sets Grand Rotana apart is its exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable.
The food was absolutely fantastic! There was a wonderful variety of delicious dishes, all beautifully prepared. A particularly special thank you to the head chef, who kindly went out of his way on numerous occasions to prepare spicy sauce especially for me. Such a thoughtful gesture that I genuinely appreciated! The entire restaurant team were outstanding, particularly Hussein, whose warmth, attentiveness and willingness to help made every dining experience a pleasure. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and we always felt so well looked after.
One of the most memorable moments of our holiday was the lovely surprise arranged for my mum’s birthday. During dinner at one of the hotel’s à la carte restaurants, the team brought out a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. It was such a sweet, thoughtful gesture and made an already special evening even more magical. A heartfelt thank you to Inna, who arranged this beautiful surprise. Seeing the smile on my mum’s face was priceless, and I am incredibly grateful for the effort that went into making her feel so celebrated.
I would also love to give special recognition to Ahmed and Mohamed, who took such wonderful care of our room throughout our stay. Every day, we returned to a beautifully cleaned and tidied room, often with thoughtful little touches that made us smile. Their attention to detail and dedication certainly did not go unnoticed.
The pool bar staff were equally fantastic, always friendly, welcoming and attentive, adding so much to our relaxing days by the pool. A huge thank you also goes to the lifeguards, who were incredibly kind and watchful. Neither my mum nor I are confident swimmers, and their attentiveness helped us feel safe, comfortable and able to enjoy the pool with greater confidence. That meant more to us than they probably realised!
What stood out most throughout our stay was how genuinely lovely everyone was. It wasn’t simply excellent service; it was the warmth, kindness and personal attention that made us feel truly welcome. Every interaction, every smile and every thoughtful gesture contributed to such a beautiful experience.
This holiday was particularly meaningful to me because I wanted to give my mum a memorable 60th birthday celebration, and seeing her so happy, relaxed and thoroughly enjoying herself was everything I could have wished for.
To Inna, Hussein, Ahmed, Mohamed, the wonderful head chef, restaurant and pool bar teams, lifeguards and everyone else who made our stay special, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped turn an already special occasion into an unforgettable experience, and we returned to London with beautiful memories and nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Grand Rotana to anyone looking for a beautiful hotel with excellent food, stunning surroundings and, above all, truly exceptional hospitality.

Another great stay at this hotel. Thank you to everybody at the Grand Rotana for looking after us again. Hotel was spotless, our room and the grounds, thanks Sheriff. Mustafa, Hossan and Ahmed at the pool bar hard working lads and good fun. The main restaurant and the Italian restaurant staff were excellent as was the food. Thanks Ibrahim for our taxis and Inna who is a wonderful guest relations manager. Last would like to thank Mohammad and Donnia at the lounge bar, when we left Donnia had been taken to hospital,we hope she is ok. Great hotel with excellent staff thank you all. Mark and Tracey
