A nice stay, but not as good as other resort experiences
This was my first stay in Sharm El-Sheikh and at this resort chain. The resort is lovely, the pools, loungers, landscaping and beach are all top notch and pleasant, calming and nice - exactly what you want from a 5 star resort. The service is also good, they always try to meet your needs and we had some great service on specific requests. I am afraid the food wasn't to our tastes and I think could be improved. The options are good and quality is ok, but I don't think the tastes or cooking style was great, so that left us quite unsatisfied throughout our stay. The entertainment was also varying in quality, with the animation show at a peak time, when the profesional shows were shorter than this. Overall, a nice stay, but not as good as other resorts we have been to in Turkey or elsewhere.
Birthday celebrations
We have visited this hotel several times and returned for my 60th birthday The hotel didn’t disappoint They laid on. a special meal and up graded our room Round the pool we had a parasol festooned with balloons . The staff genuinely cannot do enough for you from the gardeners up to the senior management all make the hotel great. There are a few niggles and changes that have been made . The food in the seafood restaurant has changed at lunchtime , not for the better unfortunately. The all inclusive mini bar has been removed ,this was apparently a decision taken at a high level at the jaz group not the hotel . However this did not take away from the standards of the hotel and the food offered Yes there are better all inclusive hotels available however this hotel is honest it does not pretend to offer premium drinks instead the drinks offered are of a decent quality. At the price point this hotel is difficult to beat . You can go to the Caribbean , Dubai or Mexico however these holidays cost far more than staying at the alcazar .. This hotel is excellent value with great staff and fantastic grounds and buildings Be realistic with what you pay and you won’t be disappointed..

La maison
We visited the hotel for the 3rd time and we had a fantastic experience again the food and service is 1st rate we visited all of the al a carte restaurant our particular favourites are la maisons with the friendly head waiter motawea who can't do enough for you his service is brilliant he so friendly and very helpful and nothing is to much trouble for him the food is outstanding .
Greates hotel to go in Sharm
Staff - 10/10, management - 10/10, food and service in Japanese and French restaurant - 200/10. Overall - simply 12 out of 10! Go there, try it and you will probably want to go there at least 2 times per year.

Great hotel
Had a fantastic stay, room very spacious, staff very friendly couldn’t do enough for us, plenty of sunbeds and lifeguards always happy to find you the perfect spot. Food very nice something for everyone.
