Would Give It Zero Stars If I Could! What should have been the start of a special family holiday turned into an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. We arrived at the hotel at around 10pm with our family, including two young children, tired after a long journey and looking forward to celebrating a birthday. Instead of checking in and settling down, we were informed that because our daughter had recently turned 12, she was now considered an adult and could no longer be accommodated under our booking. She hadn't even been 12 for a month. Rather than resolving the issuequickly, we were left sitting in reception for nearly two hours late at night with two young children, exhausted and confused, while staff tried to decide what to do. After keeping us waiting unnecessarily, we were told we would need to pay an additional $600 per night to move to a different room. Then, after all that, they suddenly said we could remain in the room we had originally booked if we paid an extra $150 per night instead. The entire experience felt unfair, poorly handled, and completely lacking in compassion or common sense. Being left in limbo late at night with tired children, only to be presented with unexpected costs, is not something any family should have to endure. Sadly, this experience overshadowed what was meant to be a memorable birthday celebration. We arrived excited and left feeling stressed, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. The way this situation was handled has completely ruined our impression of the hotel. We will not be returning, and I would strongly advise families to think twice before booking here.

This is our second time staying at Rixos Premium Seagate, and we wanted to give a special mention to Ali, who works at the Aqua side pool bar.
Ali is absolutely fantastic! He is incredibly friendly, attentive and hardworking, always making sure we are looked after and have everything we need. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he always provides service with a smile.
It’s lovely to return to the hotel and receive such wonderful hospitality. Ali really is a credit to the Rixos team and deserves recognition for his outstanding service.

Top Notch Egyptian Holiday - book it!
Had a fantastic holiday in Rixos Premium Seagate. This hotel is incredible for Egypt and brilliant full stop. We’ve had an amazing week; food is brilliant, premium drinks (have seen some moaning but just ASK for what brand you want). Our family very rarely revisit a hotel but we would 100% come back here. Water park is outstanding and the lifeguards all through the hotel are outstanding looking after families. Hygiene and cleanliness spot on. Service is incredible. Soliman, Mahmoud, Mohammad at the main pool bar and Mohammad at SALT seafood restaurant, Ahmed at Turkish restaurant went over and above. Every day the guys at the lagoon pool were incredible looking after us. One small gripe is booking for à la carte restaurants - the system doesn’t work. The app crashes or tells you it’s fully booked, then you’re told to go to concierge who want to book you at 9.30 - it’s a lot of a palava. BUT when you do get a booking, they are fab. Management please review the process because it’s the only part letting you down - the rest of the hotel is absolutely brilliant!! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Amazing Family Holiday – The Staff Make This Resort Special!
We've had a fantastic family holiday at Rixos Premium Seagate, and while the resort itself is beautiful, what really makes this place special is the incredible staff.
A very special thank you to Muhammad at Turquoise Restaurant (downstairs), who has been absolutely brilliant throughout our stay. He always remembers our drinks and often brings them over before we even have to ask! He's also been incredibly thoughtful towards our son, Gianni, remembering his dietary requirements and going out of his way to make sure he has dairy-free options. It's this kind of personal attention that really makes a difference.
Another big thank you to Yesi at Rixy Club, who took the time to teach Gianni some drumming techniques. He absolutely loved it! It's wonderful to see someone taking a genuine interest in the children and making their holiday that little bit more memorable.
We also want to mention Mahmoud from Block 6 housekeeping, who has been fantastic. Our room has always been spotless, the towel decorations have been a lovely touch, and he even knocks every evening to check whether we need anything else. His attention to detail and genuine kindness haven't gone unnoticed.
We'd also like to give a special mention to the security guards stationed at the main entrance gate of the resort. Every time we've passed through, they've been incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. They're among the first people guests encounter when arriving and some of the last when leaving, and their warm attitude makes a fantastic impression. They deserve recognition for the way they welcome and assist guests every day.
As restaurant owners ourselves, we understand how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to deliver excellent hospitality. We also know that great service isn't just about doing your job well; it's about making guests feel genuinely looked after. The staff here have certainly achieved that.
Rixos Premium Seagate is a beautiful resort with fantastic facilities, but ultimately it's the people who make the difference.
Thank you to Muhammad, Yesi, Mahmoud, the security guards at the main entrance and everyone else who helped make our family holiday so special.
We leave with some wonderful memories and would happily return!

Fantastic meal. Going to be hard to beat!
We visited the Brazilian restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It did not disappoint. The food and ambiance were fantastic. Staff were kind, very generous with the food and extremely responsive to dietary requirements and preferences. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
