Rehana Royal Beach Resort Aquapark Spa

We had a really enjoyable stay at Rehana Royal and one of the biggest standouts was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and happy to accommodate us, and Michael, the manager, in particular really went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.

Our room was very clean and spacious, and we had a swim-up room, which gave us direct access to our own pool area and was a great extra.

The resort also has steps leading down to the beach, where you can snorkel straight from the shore, which was a real bonus for us.

We also enjoyed the food, particularly the Italian restaurant, where we had an excellent steak. The kids had a great time at the aquaparks, and our daughter especially loved going to the kids' club.

Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable family stay, with genuinely lovely service. We would happily stay again.

A great hotel for an active vacation, we came back with so many emotions! My husband and I stayed at Rehana Royal Beach Resort & Spa. We spent a long time choosing a hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and read tons of reviews (after all, Nabq is a specific area because of the winds), but in the end, we took the chance and didn't regret it at all! The vacation flew by in a heartbeat, and the hotel left us with very warm memories. The grounds and pools get a solid five stars! The property is simply huge and very green. For Egypt, it’s quite a rarity to see so many palm trees and flowers around, and everything is constantly trimmed, watered, and cleaned. During the first few days, we even got a bit lost on the pathways, but then we figured it out. There are tons of pools for every taste: some are lively with music, while others are more peaceful. The water park was a great bonus — the slides are awesome, you can't feel the seams (my back is safe 😄), and the lifeguards actually watch out for safety instead of just sitting on their phones. It's virtually impossible to stay hungry here. We had read reviews saying there’s nothing to eat in Egypt and were worried. In reality: meat (beef, chicken, turkey) is always available, and they often grill outside for dinner. The fish is tasty, and there are plenty of side dishes. A separate disaster for your figure is their pastries and cakes — it's simply impossible to resist! The room and service were great. We were checked in pretty quickly, even though we arrived a couple of hours before the official time. The room itself was spacious; the furniture wasn't super new, but everything was clean, the A/C worked perfectly, and the plumbing didn't leak. They cleaned every day and made us towels swans and elephants — a small thing, but nice. The animation team members are absolute sparkplugs! They were constantly putting on different shows, so it wasn't boring at all. The hotel completely met our expectations. We would gladly come back here again!

This resort was catering exclusively for Russians and this was not disclosed on their website. hotel itself was outdated and desperate need of refurbishment and good clean, repaint and there were many repair work that needed to be carried out. The food was so repetitive in the main restaurant towhich wasn't the best at all, leaving us no other option but to book the Chinese, Italian Thai, on the nights we stayed but we mainly eat out for the majority of the holiday, on arrival they allocated us a room which we booked which was sea view, but it soon became very clear at 10am that we weren't able to stay in this room as we were on top of the main pool, were at 09.45 blasting music would come on and noise was unbearable. My partner and I liked to have a little siesta in the afternoon which was impossible to sleep, the manager came to listen, he had to go out in the corridor to use his phone to move us to a different room, because he couldn't hear reception on the phone. Yes we had another room ground floor still outdated, with a balcony but couldn't use it due bushes and grass outside our balcony, thousands of mosquitos, we were covered in bites even though we use all the replants, we bought there, the staff and life guards around our pool were friendly and couldn't do enough to help, but definitely will not be going back to the Rehana resort, I been to Egypt four times my partner fourteen time, we love Egypt but this was the worst ever so disappointed and it wasn't cheap. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, The guy who comes around the pools asking you to book the sea food restaurant luckily for us my partner is a chef! All the food was deep fried in tye same fryer!! They will show you lovely photos of beautiful platters, but trust me it comes nothing like said photos, it was swimming in grease and when my partner began eating g some Prawns after peeling back the batter she told me don't eat that!! It was not to temperature and could potentially make you seriously ill.... the following morning we were both ill with vomiting and diarrhoea after sampling one Prawn and one piece of calamari each, this could have be extremely serious if you are unaware, they told us all drinks were free but this turned out to be soft drinks only, they charged us £32.00 for food and £20 for a bottle of wine, needless to say we totally refused to pay that bill.
