I do not recommend this place—at most, it’s a 3-star hotel. On the positive side: the weather, the bartenders, and the housekeeping staff. On the negative side: everything else. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. Our room key card didn’t work, so we had to go back to the reception. We were provided with only two towels for three adults, half a roll of toilet paper, and no soap. The refrigerator was broken and smelled of old food scraps. The balcony door was so stiff that it took two people to open it. On the plus side, the air conditioning cooled the room down quickly. After such a poor start, we hoped the food might make up for the previous night’s troubles—but we couldn't have been wrong more. Breakfasts were bad, and while the dinners were better, but for 3-star hotel. Despite being by the sea, there was practically no seafood. The sun loungers by the pool were shabby and old but we did find a small, quiet pool area with loungers that had cushioned pads. After we filed a complaint, the missing items were provided, and the fridge was replaced with a working one (though it was still old). The balcony door remained difficult to open even after a "repair," but it was finally fixed properly following a second complaint. It seems the hotel has only one iron ,getting hold of it is a daily struggle, and they come to collect it again after just an hour. The only truly helpful person was a Russian woman from the Guest Relations team-Gana. There are five staff members standing at the reception desk, but when you approach you have to wait 5–10 minutes before anyone deigns to assist you. At the end of our vacation, we were charged $120 to extend our room stay until 6:00 PM, and we weren't even allowed to have dinner because our wristbands were taken away—even though we had effectively lost an entire day (Sunday) due to our midnight arrival. An absolute disaster.
The best staff
The best place! The staff make the whole experience truly wonderful with their kindness and helpfulness. A special thanks to Mina at the reception and Said from the spa, as well as the entire spa team. They are all incredibly kind and welcoming and make you feel extra special.
A Hotel We Love Returning To
My friend and I have just returned from our 10-day stay at Kiroseiz Hotel, our third visit, and we would like to thank the wonderful staff who make us return time and time again. Special thanks to Shaker- luggage assistant-he’s a star, Ali Abdulsalem - housekeeping , Abanoub - poolside barman Baz, Mr Bassem, Said - Spa, Sayed - poolside, El-Rawi, and the fantastic animation team, especially Sam, Sultan and Alice. The Atrium restaurant team, particularly Mr Ahmed, Ahmed, Mina and Mr Ashraf, also deserve recognition for their professionalism and excellent service. However, Pharaoh and Sultan restaurant needs improvement. Although Manager Mr Ali is helpful and Mina at the kofta grill is always polite and smiling, and Andrew the waiter is attentive- the waiting staff in general need further training in proactively offering drinks. The toaster also needs repairing, and tables and chairs should be cleaned more efficiently between guests. We appreciate the hard work of your team and hope you will continue investing in staff training and retaining experienced employees to maintain consistent, high-quality service. Thank you, Kiroseiz, for another enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning.
Do not book this hotel
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL 4 out of 6 of family down with such severe fevers, severe stomach cramps and days of diarhoea. Local doctor claims this is due to "travel sicknsss" due to not being used to local food, however we have travelled to Egypt many times and never had this issue. Spoke to countless other guests all experiencing the same. You couldn't pay me to come back to this hotel due to poor food hygiene in restaurants. Staff super friendly and service fantastic but honestly its not worth the risk. Waiting to be picked up for the airport now and so relieved to leave.
Brilliant spa at hotel facial was amazing
Had a one hour facial in the spa at the hotel. It was amazing - Zekra was very good, very gentle and calming and I feel great my face feel Wonderful and glowing thank you shukran Zekra many thanks you were great! 😊
