Best hotel we’ve been to in Egypt so far!
This hotel complex is huge! It’s set on a slope toward the sea, no need to worry about walking as there are buses every five minutes. We had a swim up room by the main pool area, always cleaned well and fridge restocked. The coral reef here is incredible, water is very deep. Unreal experience seeing the marine life. Food is what you expect in Egypt, loads of choice. Staff in the main restaurant are amazing, they work incredibly hard to make you welcome. Special thanks to Osama who was helpful and very entertaining! You’re never far from a pool, literally lots to choose from, plenty of loungers too, no towel wars thank goodness! We enjoyed being treated like royalty, as you come to expect in Egypt because you can’t go wrong coming here.
The only thing to look out for is overcharging at the small hotel shops, some toiletries that would be £3 in the uk they charged me £15 for. Always ask the price first, I did contactless and realised after. Did not use any hotel shops after this. There’s a supermarket outside the hotel that doesn’t over charge with prices on things and also a handy pharmacy.

Sunrise Montemare – 10/10 Would Repeat
Food: Insane variety. 9 restaurants and zero bad meals. The seafood one? Unreal. Pool pizza at 3pm should be a love language. Gained 2kg, worth every bite.
Animation Team: These guys don’t sleep. Morning yoga, pool games, foam party, kids disco, night shows. My 5-year-old now has a favorite entertainer and it’s not me.
Kids Club: Literal lifesaver. Drop the kids, get actual peace, pick them up happy + exhausted. Parents, you’ll thank me later.
Overall: Food = fire. Staff = sunshine. Kids = finally napping. Book it. I’m already checking dates to come back.

Egypt has a special place in my heart and this hotel just highlighted that!! food is lovely very diverse lots of selection, the entertainment is also so good! there’s something for everyone wether it’s water sports for the adults or the kids club and the shows on an evening!! The animation are so lively and full of energy make the day exciting but also respect when you want to chill! The team in kids club are a god send and feel like my little ones are really getting a bit more out of their days! couldn’t praise aisha enough she’s an angel!! Will definitely be adding this hotel to my “must visit again” list!

Food: 9/10
Main buffet is huge with consistent quality and good variety. Seafood night on Thursday is excellent. Beach bar snacks from 12-5 PM are a lifesaver: pizza, burgers, fries, fruit. Desserts are a highlight, especially the oriental selection.
Sports Animation: 8.5/10
Active but not pushy. Morning yoga & aqua gym, water polo at noon, beach volleyball in the afternoon. For kids: aqua zumba and pool games daily. The team keeps everyone entertained without being annoying.
Kids Club: 10/10
Fully AC, super clean, and amazing staff. Open 10 AM-1 PM & 3-5 PM daily. Different activities every day: face painting, plaster coloring, treasure hunts, t-shirt painting. Mini Disco at 8:30 PM is a must for kids. Honestly the reason to book this hotel if you have children.
Bottom line: Perfect for families. Kids are busy all day, parents actually get to relax.

One of the best parts of my stay was the animation team. They made every day fun and full of energy. There were so many activities from morning until evening, and everything was well organized. I really enjoyed the morning fitness sessions, the pool games, the daily competitions, and the positive atmosphere everywhere. The animation team was always smiling, friendly, and encouraged everyone to join without being pushy. They were amazing with both adults and children. The evening shows were different every night, including live performances, dance shows, themed parties, and entertaining games. There was always something exciting to do, so we never got bored. The kids' activities were also excellent, making the hotel perfect for families. The food was another highlight of our holiday. The main restaurant offered a great variety of fresh and delicious dishes every day. The hotel also has several specialty restaurants, and each one had its own unique style and excellent menu. I especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the seafood restaurant. The service in every restaurant was fast, professional, and very friendly. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of entertainment, great food, beautiful restaurants, and excellent service
