Our first time visiting Egypt. On arrival we were greeted at the gate and luggage was taken away, as we entered the beautiful reception area we were told to get comfortable in the lobby, they brought us non alcoholic cocktails and gave us all the information about the hotel. We were then taken down to the restaurant (10pm) where they cooked us fresh some fresh food! We then arrived at our very spacious room, we are a family of 10 and they made sure our 3 rooms were next to each other, with a beautiful sea view! The hotel gardens are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, those gardeners work hard!! The staff are some of the most friendly, welcoming, happy and hardworking that I’ve ever known in any other country. Walid at breakfast is fab and makes the best coffee! I’m vegetarian so was wary about what I would eat, one night there was nothing I fancied and the chef made me some fresh pasta, it was delicious! I cannot fault the service in this hotel. If you move an inch the staff are over to help. Sat around the pool and they would just bring drinks over, sometimes without even asking! The pools are large and we managed to get 10 loungers and 3 umbrellas every day, the lifeguards would help with this too! Waves bar is great, they cook toasted sandwiches, pizzas, chips, hot dogs etc fresh each order and you never wait long! The men who cleaned our room were fab, our room was immaculate! Upon leaving we were getting picked up late so we paid £100 to keep our room on until we left, which meant we got the whole day there. Bibo is a lovely man who organises all of the trips, we booked a safari with him and we did quad biking and camel riding in the desert, a great trip that we would highly recommend! The snorkelling from the jetty at the hotel is amazing too! So many fish! All in all, a fabulous hotel with some of the best staff I’ve ever met, friendly, happy, caring and clean!
