:::writing{variant="standard" id="18462"} Overall, we had a good experience during our five-night stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the food was varied and tasty, and the swimming pools were spacious and very suitable for families. My daughter especially loved the kids’ club—the programme was diverse, and she enjoyed a different activity every day.
However, the price felt significantly overpriced for the level of luxury and overall experience provided. The quality of materials in the room felt more appropriate for a four-star hotel, not a five-star property or an international brand such as Steigenberger. Many of the finishes, furnishings, and fabrics throughout the hotel appeared inexpensive. The doors felt unusually light and flimsy, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the woodwork in our room looked low quality—even though we had booked a suite with a private pool. The reading light beside the bed kept flashing, so it was unusable.
The television placement was also frustrating, as it was not directly in front of the bed. We constantly had to turn our heads to the right while watching, which was uncomfortable.
The hotel’s design is overly symmetrical and repetitive, making a stay longer than two days feel monotonous. It consists largely of two identical rows of buildings facing one another, and the repetition quickly becomes visually tiring. The ground-floor corridor leading to our room felt particularly unpleasant: it was very long, straight, and enclosed, creating an atmosphere that felt gloomy and uncomfortable—more like a hospital or prison corridor than a luxury resort.
The main lobby is impressively large and grand, but it lacks warmth and true elegance. Both the architecture and interior design feel cold and like an unrefined mix of different styles. The overall impression is that cost-saving was prioritised over the luxury and refinement expected from a hotel of this standard. The main restaurant has a similar issue: it feels bland, with inexpensive-looking materials and an interior design more in line with a three- or four-star hotel than a major Steigenberger property. :::
We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel.
The entire resort is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and every area is cared for with great attention to detail. The beach is spotless, creating the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh dishes every day. There was something for everyone, and we were impressed by both the quality and the selection.
What truly made our stay special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Everyone greeted us with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome.
We would especially like to recognize Life Guard Mohamed Mahmoud. Despite the intense heat, he was always smiling, kind, and attentive. He regularly brought us fresh towels without us even having to ask, reacted immediately when a guest fell and needed assistance, and surprised guests with creative towel decorations that made every day a little more special. His positive attitude, professionalism, and dedication are truly outstanding and deserve special recognition.
Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We would love to come back!
