I just returned from a stay at this resort. Conclusion: PROS: gorgeous, well-kept garden; spacious, clean room; recently renovated room but with physical signs of wear, clean beach and water, fine sand with a gentle entrance to the sea, gorgeous, warm water, with many fish, imperceptible tide. BIG CONS: improperly cooked food, burnt or partially cooked food: almost uncooked pasta, half-baked pancakes, unripe fruit, salads and food cooked with a lot of oil, repetitive daily - that is, about the same dishes both at lunch and in the evening and the following days. Glasses at beach bars worn and partially clean, at the snack bar and beach bar only pizza, burgers and fries; 2 types of ice cream (I didn't taste it), juices from the dispenser ok, the nes coffee from the machine very bad. The good thing is that the food wasn't spoiled but you didn't really have much to choose from. TIPS are expected almost everywhere, this is for those who have not been to Egypt. To avoid frequent diarrhea in Egypt, I do not recommend eating fruit at the table, many adult and child tourists touch them and put them back in the basket. There is a pharmacy in the resort. They do not really give napkins at the table. The entertainment is weak. The sun loungers at 8 am are almost all occupied with towels and the staff on the beach is insistent for tips. Another minus is the noise from the neighboring resort and the noise at noon from the pool. Conclusion: from a gastronomic point of view I do not think it deserves 5 stars, otherwise everything is ok. The resort is in the desert, about 2 hours by bus from the airport.
Very bad experience
My stay at the hotel comes with many reservations and concerns. One of the most disappointing aspects was the poor quality of the food and the lack of variety, especially considering that the hotel is not in a low-price category. Unfortunately, I feel that the overall level of service did not match the amount of money paid for the stay. The experience fell well below my expectations, and based on this experience, I do not think I would choose to visit or stay at this hotel again. Overall, I do not feel that I received the level of service and value that I paid for.

We had such a wonderful experience with Hotel photographer Aladin! He was polite, patient, and professional throughout our family photo session. He made us feel comfortable, especially with the kids, and was so patient in capturing those perfect moments.
The worst vacation ever
Definitely Not a 5-Star Experience
I am currently staying at Sentido Caribbean World Soma Bay, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. In my opinion, the hotel falls far below the standard expected from a 5-star resort.
The staff attitude has often been rude and unhelpful. The room is in poor condition, and there appears to be a serious lack of maintenance. The air conditioning is not properly maintained, and we even had water dripping from the bathroom ceiling, which is completely unacceptable in a hotel claiming to offer a 5-star experience.
Housekeeping has also been disappointing. Towels were not changed properly, and although we are two people staying in a double room, only one shampoo package and one shower gel package were provided.
The food selection is very limited and basic. For a resort advertised as 5-star, I expected much better variety and quality.
The all-inclusive concept is also questionable. There are no bottled waters available at the bars — you have to fill a cup and drink from it. Mojitos, Piña Coladas, and iced coffee are charged extra. Even the espresso machines use instant Nescafé-style coffee rather than freshly ground coffee beans, which is another detail that does not match the level of a 5-star resort.
Overall, the property may have a good location, but the poor room condition, lack of maintenance, disappointing service, limited food selection, and numerous extra charges have made this stay far below expectations.
I would strongly advise management to focus on maintenance, housekeeping standards, staff training, and improving the actual quality of the all-inclusive experience.
Based on my current experience, I would not return unless there are major improvements.
