Everything was really great. We have here exellent time with our family. We feel like home. Everyone were very friendly. We really recommend this hotel.
If I had to describe Amarina in just a few words, I would simply say: Swiss hospitality in the heart of Egypt.
This was our first trip to Egypt, and we returned home with wonderful memories. Beyond the beauty of the Red Sea, what impressed us most was the warmth of the Egyptian people. Everywhere we went we found smiling, kind and respectful people who genuinely enjoy making guests feel welcome.
You can feel this atmosphere from the moment you arrive at Amarina. The staff is always present without ever being intrusive and, most of the time, they anticipate your needs before you even ask. We have stayed in many resorts over the years, and this level of service is something we rarely experienced.
The resort is modern, beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean. The beach is spacious, with hot showers, excellent restrooms and constant cleaning throughout the day. The sea is crystal clear and the sandy beach slopes gently into the water, making it perfect for everyone. Although there is no coral reef directly in front of the resort, we were lucky enough to swim with sea turtles almost every day. That alone made this holiday unforgettable.
The swimming pools and water park are equally impressive. We always found available sunbeds, and the lifeguards were professional, attentive and always on duty.
The food was another pleasant surprise. The buffet offered plenty of variety and excellent quality. For the first time outside Italy, we enjoyed pasta that was genuinely outstanding. We also loved the four themed à la carte restaurants, all included in the All Inclusive package.
A special thank you goes to the Guest Experience Team. We booked directly through Booking.com without using a tour operator, yet we felt looked after from the very beginning. Every day we received a WhatsApp message asking if everything was perfect or if we needed anything. Mohamed and Abdelwahab deserve special thanks for their professionalism, kindness and genuine care.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Ali, who looked after our room with outstanding professionalism and care. Every day we came back to a room that was spotlessly clean, beautifully prepared and perfectly organized. His kindness, discretion and dedication to his work perfectly reflect the hospitality that makes Amarina such a special place.
The entertainment team is another real strength of the resort. They are fun, energetic and never pushy. Psyco, Maya, Biibu, Donatello, Joo and the entire team made every day more enjoyable. We will never forget hearing “Stretching Time!” and “Show Time!” echoing around the resort. They are simply wonderful people.
Our two sons, aged 14 and 18, also had an amazing holiday. They quickly made friends and, on several evenings, joined members of the entertainment team for taxi trips to the clubs in nearby Hurghada. Everything was well organized, safe and professionally managed, giving us complete peace of mind as parents.
We also highly recommend the Eden Island excursion with Egypt International. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, with white sandy beaches, crystal-clear water and fantastic snorkeling. Special thanks to Raffy for his professionalism, honesty and friendly attitude.
Amarina truly delivers what an All Inclusive holiday should be. The waiters constantly walk around the beach, pools and public areas asking if you would like something to eat or drink. You never need to look for someone or wait for service. You simply relax and enjoy your holiday.
The Bedouin Night was another memorable experience, with traditional food, music and entertainment in a wonderful atmosphere.
We also appreciated the type of guests staying at the resort. Most were European families and couples looking for relaxation and quality. The atmosphere was calm, elegant and respectful, very different from the more crowded Red Sea destinations that have become increasingly chaotic over the years.
We stayed for fifteen days and never once felt bored. In fact, time passed far too quickly.
If you are looking for relaxation, outstanding service, beautiful beaches and genuine hospitality, we can wholeheartedly recommend Amarina.
Thank you to every member of the staff for making this holiday so special.
We will definitely be back.
I've been to Egypt and all-inclusive resorts before, but here's the lowdown: The location is awesome, right on the sea, but the downside is all the yachts and boats in the afternoon leaving a diesel trail in the water. The waiters and bartenders are amazing at their jobs, even after working 14-15 hours. Rooms with a "sea view" are basically pool view with just a peek of the sea (the website pictures are misleading). Rooms are cleaned daily, but they only change the sheets if you ask; otherwise, they just make the bed. If you have kids, get ready to open your wallet, because even though it's all-inclusive, a fresh-squeezed juice at breakfast is €2, a different ice cream (not the hotel's) is €4 a scoop, and the hotel shops will rip you off (you'll find things for half price outside). If you're on a budget, it's a decent hotel, but if you want professionalism, respect, clean rooms, fresh linens, and your best vacation ever, you should probably look elsewhere. And definitely don't pick a ground-floor room, because the smell of fertilizer when they water the plants is unbearable (it's like being in a horse stall).
The sea was really beautiful and everyone is very friendly. Overall it’s a great experience and I would come back here.
The location is a bit far from the airport, the food is very good, the coffee is good, the rooms are clean, the cleaning is done daily, the hotel facilities are very good, the atmosphere in the evening with live music. I recommend, a very good hotel for a relaxing stay. Price-quality ratio is really good
