I really like the place. Its clean and well maintained. Also the personell is very nice. Especially Kirolos (dr cocktail) and Mohammed!

We had an amazing stay at Ancient Sands Hotel Golf Resort and can genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting El Gouna.
From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable. The hotel is modern, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. Our room was spacious, spotless every day, and had everything we needed. The entire resort also felt incredibly safe, and even when it came to the food, we never had the slightest concern about hygiene or quality.
The biggest highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, but Kirolos at the pool bar and Martha at the reception truly made our stay special. They always made sure we were doing well, checked if we needed anything, and paid attention to the smallest details—all in such a genuine and natural way, never feeling pushy. Their kindness really stood out and made us feel valued as guests.
Another thing we loved was the atmosphere. The resort was peaceful and quiet, with mostly couples and groups of friends, making it the perfect place to relax. We also really appreciated the complimentary activities, such as bike tours and cooking workshops, which were a great bonus.
For what you pay, the hotel offers incredible value. It honestly exceeded our expectations.
A few words about El Gouna itself: it’s a beautiful, clean, and very well-organized resort town. Getting around is easy thanks to the tuk-tuks, and the downtown area has plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. Throughout our stay, we always felt extremely safe. In fact, the only time we left El Gouna was for excursions.
Overall, this was one of those hotels where everything just felt easy and enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in El Gouna.
